Bread thrown on table in a paper bag with no plate or any olive oil. No gluten free bread offered to my wife until requested, Potatoes were cold - and were still cold after asking them to be heated. Steak was delicious but we asked for it to be cooked a little more but seemed no different when returned. My wife felt she was being made fun of when she told the waiter that she was coeliac.

The food was absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. One older woman server was not very friendly and was quite rude but the other folks were kind and attentive. Maybe better to keep her away from customers. Overall, a wonderful experience and so nice to see the meat preparation while enjoying dinner.

Family neighborhood restaurant with warmth. Incredible and authentic Tuscan food and Florentine steaks. Mostly locals. A little walk from the tourist areas, but well worth it. One of the best steaks I’ve had in my life.

This was a great place to dine. It is somewhat out of the tourist area so it is frequented by a nice mix of intrepid travelers and locals. The food from the appetizer to the end of the meal was perfect. Be sure to get the Bisteca cooked over a coal embers from a wood fire. The grill chef was both talented and attentive. The steak is presented for your inspection prior to cooking. The baked potato accompanied rhe steak and it was extraordinary.

The food was excellent. Even if you are solo unless you don’t eat it, order the steak, the preparation was fantastic. The wine by the glass was also vey good. The ambience was very nice and the staff extremely welcoming. The tables are spaced apart so you don’t feel too crowded. A good value for the price.

Empty restaurant, poor service, and disgusting steak. The staff will give you the worst meat when you book via The Fork with a discount. We paid 85€ for only the meat, having a 50% discount because the staff said the only steak they had was a 1.89 kg steak (for 2) at price 10€/100gr. The meat was overcooked, not tasty, dry and chewy. Also there was literally no one else in the restaurant except for us, on a Friday evening at 8pm. It says a lot…

Everything was perfect and delicious. We ordered far too much food because the steak is tremendous, but it was worth it. The beef tartar with truffles was out of this world. The waiter was engaging and joyous. When I pulled up the location on my maps App, we debated whether it would be worth the walk. It was!

We are 2 persons, especially we have ate some amuse-bouche before the dinner, this is the first time for my husband to be Florence, we were planning to order a steak maximum 1kg, in this way we can order something else to try more plats. but the boss was refusing to give us a smaller one, he said you have to take this one of 1.4kg or nothing, finally we couldn’t finish the meet, half left, The steak is tasty, but I could be better if we can chose the weight of meet.

For an amazing and authentic Florence experience you must go here. It is off the beaten path, but so worth it. We went with our 3 kids and they loved it! Our daughter has Celiac and they were so helpful.

We had a great time and the food was very good but the waiter forgot parts of the order after upselling up on their Florentine steak (it had beed better at other restaurants) and a higher wine than we wanted so the bill really ballooned.

Very bad experience. Food was not eatable - pasta overcooked, starters from cheap ingredients, very oily. Never again. We didn't understand why they have such good ratings

We booked this restaurant for the Florentine Steak and that didn't disappoint. There weren't a lot of options that our kids were excited about but they found enough to eat.
