6.5/10The food was pretty good. My party got three dishes. The veal cheek was excellent, the wild boar ragu was pretty good, and the squid ink pasta was fairly salty and not to my taste. When getting the check, they prompted me to tip, which I thought was classless, and an attempt to take advantage of me, a tourist. That rubbed me the wrong way.

So i m not enjoi you visit my trattaria because if you don’t like the food i understand but about the service you made a big big mistake!!! We serve the water we are smiling every time and but the tip . When the customer pay by the card the machine automatically ask tip . I made this for everyone Italian or other world country!!! We are in the best position in all the booking platforms service !!! We don’t need your tip !!!And I think I don’t need you enymore !!!

Was in Florence for 3 days and we ate Florentine steaks for 3 days in a row. This is by far our favourite store. The beef was perfectly charred with the aroma of beef. We really loved it so much! The desserts were all very good as well. We ordered tiramisu and panna cotta at first but had to try the mascarpone pistachio as well. All were great! Will 100% recommend

Steak Florentine and papardelle wild boar ragu are absolutely fantastic. Small restaurant, definitely make a reservation. Staff was kind, helpful, and responsive.

The service was excellent, and with the 50% discount, the prices were very reasonable. The dishes were delicious, but the Florentine T-bone steak was a bit too rare for our taste—the meat was cold inside and felt like we were chewing raw meat. The kids at the next table were extremely noisy, so we’re deducting one star for the environment. Still, the overall atmosphere was quite nice. Worth a try.

10/10Everything from the incredible food to the amazing friendly service. This was the 2nd time that we have been here over the years visiting Florence and already planning on returning next year during our wedding week where we will bringing along friends and family. Highly highly recommend, when you picture an Italian meal this is what you except plus more !!

6/10Lovely pretty trattoria with a traditional feel. However, we were initially left ignored and waiting on arrival at the door . Never a good start. Waiters were however friendly and helpful when we finally sat down. Food was ok but nothing special. I had the squid ink tagliatelle to start which was a little tasteless followed by beef with rocket and parmesan, some bits were really quite tough and not good at all. A little disappointing but perhaps I just ordered badly.

10/10One of my favorite restaurants in Florence. Last here three years ago and the food is still as delicious as I remembered. We enjoyed the pappardelle al cinghiale and the osso buco. A pleasant atmosphere and good service, too.

It might seem improbable that a trattoria located within a few short blocks of Florence’s Duomo and Piazza della Signoria could remain unaffected by the nearby turistico world. But Trattoria il Bargello surely is, serving up wonderful food and good wines, at great prices, in a warm, cozy, homey space. The linguine nero with fresh calamari was a special favorite. Service was attentive and truly felt like walking into a family gathering. Highly recommended!

10/10Wonderful food with a good range of dishes for a small place. The staff was warm and welcoming, and seemed to be having as much fun as the customers were. It's an excellent example of a small family-run place with an inviting atmosphere, joy, and excellent food. We had most of the pasta dishes and the steak. Everything was delicious!

+1Aside from the delicious food and wine, the attentive, friendly and caring staff (including server and manager) were amazing. They were accommodating to our special requests for a celebration and arranged a comfortable table and made the entire evening and celebration wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Florence.

Sorry but was the true !! I don’t understand this feedback!!! You can choose to stay and trust us or leave and eat in other place !! Yup decided to stay ! We really.have a problem with the phone company about the line ! But I think you wrong trattoria!!!

10/10This was a wonderful find! The service was impeccable with the ever present owner happily seeing to everyone’s needs. Small and cozy with a family feel. The food was amazing. One of the best steak tartare I have ever had and the papparadelle with wild boar was really delicious. Lovely experience!

8/10Unfortunately the toilets weren’t very clean and smelled. The service was sporadic and we needed to ask for oil/ vinegar and Parmesan cheese at each part of our meal. The chicken was overcooked and dry with an over abundance of charcoal flavor. The meals were hot and flavorful but we didn’t rate them as excellent as we would have expected from a top 100 ranked restaurant.

10/10We asked our waitress to bring what she liked. First meal, second meal and red wine pairing. It was great food and her selections were amazing after a minute of conversation around our likes/dislikes. The best occasions are with trusting the staff, enjoying the moment and food. This is the place to do that.
