10/10The food is the best we had on our 2 weeks trip around Toscany. The people working there are amazing. I will absolutely recommend this place and come back!

9.5/10The food was delicious, the Florentine steak was cooked perfectly. The wine our server choose was delicious as well. Our server was great and attentive, the owner engaged with us as well. We would definitely come back next time we are in Florence.

8/10Unfortunately the toilets weren’t very clean and smelled. The service was sporadic and we needed to ask for oil/ vinegar and Parmesan cheese at each part of our meal. The chicken was overcooked and dry with an over abundance of charcoal flavor. The meals were hot and flavorful but we didn’t rate them as excellent as we would have expected from a top 100 ranked restaurant.

10/10We asked our waitress to bring what she liked. First meal, second meal and red wine pairing. It was great food and her selections were amazing after a minute of conversation around our likes/dislikes. The best occasions are with trusting the staff, enjoying the moment and food. This is the place to do that.

10/10+2Absolutely brilliant. Such a wonderful evening with fantastic food and even better service. We were made to feel so welcome and special, all of the waiting staff treated us so well and the food was fabulous. The florentine steak was magnificent and the pasta was delicious!

10/10Delicious. Friendly staff, great service. We had the pear and pecorino ravioli to start (absolutely unreal!) followed by the florentine steak, roast potatoes and a side salad. Really delicious. Good wine and a nice caramel dessert. Highly recommend a visit here. Could not have asked for a better meal/evening.

10/10Everything about our dinner at TRATTORIA il Bargello was good. The owner engaged with us and was very nice. The owner’s wife was our server, and she was great. The steak we shared for dinner was well prepared and delicious! When we are back in Florence again, this will be our go to steak restaurant.

10/10Excellent, mind blowing food, definitely one of the very best in town. Amazing local food, family atmosphere, feels like mom’s home cooking (if your mom is a star chef though;) . Strongly recommended.

8/10The food did not quite hit the expectations of the other reviews, but the service was excellent! Felt really good to have someone treat you as friends, not tourists haha The ambiance was great, except the blinking “christmas” lights in the ceiling. But maybe that’s on me and my Tourette’s for being sensitive around that kind of stuff

5/10The restaurant appeared to be short of waiting-on staff, we were very disappointed after asking for the bill to then have to wait about 15/20 minutes to actually receive it. My partner and I had finished our meals and drinks when I had asked for the bill so then had this long wait before we were able to leave the restaurant.

Salve grazie per il suo feedback . Onestamente non sembrava così scocciato per l attesa , visto quanto ci ha messo a finire il vino e il limoncello che vi abbiamo offerto. Se avesse avuto così fretta bastava venire alla cassa e pagare . Comunque grazie lo stesso forse !!

10/10The staff and venue is incredible, exactly what we looked for when wanting an authentic tuscan experience. The food was outstanding. If you love red wine, please try the one that is made by the restaurant, just awesome.

9.5/10Lovely traditional dishes at a reasonable price with a nice ambiance. Service was excellent- our waiters spoke good English - but dropped the ball with us and another couple right at the end. They cleared our dinner plates then completely forgot us - we weren’t offered desserts or coffee and I had to ask 3 times for the bill. We were offered a Limoncello as a sorry, but it had already slightly spoiled an otherwise excellent experience.
