5.5/10Very disappointed. Had reasonably high hopes due to reviews. However, seems like this place is aimed solely at tourists, creating some sort of local Italian place. However, service is poor, waited for second glass to share bottle of wine for ever, used water glass in the end. Carbonara- seem used some sort of ham (not guancela nor panceta). Ravioli - dry, tasted like soap, 2/10. Grappa was put in a plastic cup (prob very authentic). Plus side- it was cheap, i guess you always get what you pay for.

10/10Such an amazing find! Staff were excellent and the food was delicious. Great atmosphere inside and outside. You can watch the food being made especially the pizza. Location is close to the colosseum and in a nice area with lots of other bars.

10/10We dined here as a family of six for dinner and everyone left happy..The service was top-notch (one server doted on our baby, making him laugh all night), the food was incredible and we loved the ambience! A great little gem of a restaurant!

10/10We had a reservation at 1:30pm but we arrived there early, but Julianne is very kind and let us in at 1pm. The food is delicious and we had Lasagna and pizza. Although the portion of the lasagna is a little too small, but we’re totally fine with that and end up ordering two 😅 definitely will come back again. We tip 1 Euro, and the lady was muttering something that we don’t understand, hopefully she’s not cursing us for tipping too little 🤣 Total spent: 25 euro (including tipping) What we had: Pizza Prosciutto, Lasagna x 2

3/10Perhaps they were having an off night, but we weren’t the only table who waited over a half hour for service. We heard two other tables verbally upset with the server, who could only say it wasn’t her fault. My pizza was served cold and tasteless. Very disappointing.

7.5/10Booked in advance but was still shown to the end of a long queue. The service is really chaotic and although the waiters were friendly, we felt rushed and uncomfortable. Nice food but expect the typical tourist trap experience.

7.5/10The restaurant is a tight fit but with charming ambiance. The food was above average but not mind-blowing. The service was rushed and cursory. I guess they needed to turn the tables and didn't want to spend the time to chat about wine selection or food choices. We were basically told what to eat.

8.5/10The service was friendly but helter skelter. It took a while to be greeted and when we were it was by a food runner. He was nice enough to get us some drinks. Once the waiter came and got our order things settled down. The food was fantastic (the lasagna was the best I've ever had) and my wife was happy also. A bit chaotic but I do recommend

6/10Had to wait in line even had the reservation. Waited at least 2 hours over all to order and get food. Servers took the order and disappeared forever. Had to get up and search for someone to pay.

4/10The service was very bad, the food was okay- when we got it.. Us, but also tables around has similar problems of getting food all together. My sister got her plate after at least 20mins waiting time, and me and my mom had to wait another 10mins for almost the same pasta dish after she got hers! The staff also touched trash containers continuously right in front of us and then ran to the kitchen to pick up the plates with food - without washing their hands in between! When we asked for our food, we were told 4 times that it was coming, and then we faced a questions "are you mad? " with laughing at us after, as if it was funny.. Definitely wouldn't recommend for the service, dishes were okay but it's easy to find better places to eat for sure.

9/10Trattoria Pizzeria Luzzi dal 1945 is a small restaurant, but it should not be underestimated. The drinks, pasta, pizza and tiramisu were all delicious and fairly priced. There were plenty of servers around which could attend to our needs. This truly made my first night in Rome one to remember! My only complaint is that the portion sizes were not consistent; the pizza was large, while the ravioli was a much smaller dish.

10/10The best food we had in Rome by far. Value for money is outstanding (the quality is worth at least 2x the price). All romam pastas are cooked to perfection, pizzas are amazing, and the tiramisu is the best we’ve ever had. This is a truly local restaurant in an ideal location near the colosseum. They have outdoor seating with colosseum views. They sell wine by tha carafe at very reasonable prices. There is usually a line outside at busy times, so book in advance to avoid the wait! We are so happy we found this gem. If you’re in rome for even a day, go to this restaurant; it will be the best decision you make. Exceptional quality of food, ingredients, and service and unbelievable (reasonable) prices

8.5/10Very efficient booking process via TheFork. Easy venue to find, situated near to Colosseo. Food was tasty and hot, freshly cooked. Service was functional but efficient. We sat outside and enjoyed the convivial lunchtime atmosphere, which was bolstered by a passing accordion player.

10/10Some of the best food I’ve ever had in Italy. The service was quick and attentive. Only the desserts (like the tiramisu) did not live up to the standard I was expecting, especially since the rest was absolutely divine.

4/10Meals were unfortunately cold.. carbonara wasn’t spaghetti how I expected.. the worst were services.. they didn’t even let us to finish our wine and gave us to pay a bill without asking, they just wanted kick us from the restaurant.. reason?they need a table for their friends. I am so disappointed bc I was here many times in the past and it wasn’t like that. It’s sad. We had a reservations for other days and I will cancel it. I have never had this experience that I feel so bad..

8/10Considering it is nearly a tourist-only restaurant, the food was actually good, but the service was really at odds with itself. The appetizer arrived after the main course and each plate arrived separately, meaning we all ate ‘alone’ and not as a family. Not sure if it is staff shortage or simply confused kitchen/server/ordering process. Side street view of the Colosseum, as their original location is being refurbished.

8/10They move to new location. Don’t panic when you arrive the restaurant. They will guide you to new location which is next street only. They got outdoor and indoor. I chose outdoor even in Jan. The food is nice, especially eggplant and tiramisu.

9/10Small restaurant with excellent food, but service was quite slow. Had to ask for the bill three times. Just a few blocks away from the Colosseum, so very practical and also very delicious. Prices are excellent, staff is kind but as I mentioned before service is slow. Be sure to make a reservation in advance if you plan on going at rush lunch hour

5.5/10it was raining and although we booked we had to sit outside, the plastic covering was in poor condition and although we didn't get wet you felt you could/would at any minute . The waiters kept disappearing around the corner to smoke. Despite this the pizzas were nice and served quickly .
