Having a reservation doesn’t work for this restaurant especially if you are a minority. I approached the person manning the tables, mentioned I had a reservation and was ignored. He stated 2 couple who came after me and didn’t seem to care I was standing there. The only difference was they were white.

Amazing little place for local pizza and pasta. Service was great and the seating outside was lovely. Highly highly recommend this place for traditional local food. So close to the colosseum but didn’t feel touristy. Staff were attentive and friendly.

We were seated quickly on a busy night, which was greatly appreciated. Kitchen was quick. Pizza was good. It might have been my lack of experience with dining in Rome, but the waiter's insistence that we try certain digestivi seemed odd. I thought that he was bringing them just so that we could sample an unfamiliar liquor. That they were served in plastic cups reinforced this impression. We certainly didnt order them. But we were charged for them. Also, the waiter asked that we pay cash...odd since the restaurant accepts cards. Good food, but not particularly welcoming.

The atmosphere is really "Roman typical restaurant". Great welcoming. Smiles even if so busy. Amazing food. Easy to make friends with the people next table. Very reasonable price. Just 300 metres from Colosseum

We arrived at the restaurant, but then we were led down the street to a bar with a room at the back. It was a real squeeze to get in. That was disappointing. We ordered and despite them being extremely busy, the supplì we ordered arrived (on one plate for 3 of us.) I took mine and immediately realised why they had arrived so quickly. They’d been microwaved - to molten. They tasted like they’d been heated up more than once and, for me, it was inedible. The pasta dish I had was, however, very tasty, I had a carbonara. All reasonably priced considering where we were, but if I ever go again - I would not have the supplì!

Delicious and affordable! Non touristy and friendly service. Pizza is delicious and the pasta we had was also very good. Ask the waiter what they recommend.
