A Perfect Tuscan Meal in a Truly Family-Run Trattoria We had an absolutely exceptional dinner at Trattoria Sotto L’Arco. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into someone’s home—warm, welcoming, and full of genuine Tuscan hospitality. The food was nothing short of spectacular. We enjoyed a combination of beautifully executed Tuscan pasta dishes and a perfectly prepared Bistecca Fiorentina—one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Everything tasted authentically home-cooked, with the kind of care and pride that only a true family-run kitchen delivers. The atmosphere is relaxed, family-focused, and wonderfully local. You can truly feel the passion behind the food and the service. If you want a meal that captures the heart of Tuscany, simple, honest, and unforgettable, Trattoria Sotto L’Arco is a must-visit. 10/10The owner is warm, friendly, and a phenomenal host. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again and if we had time, we would come back again and again! The food is authentic Italian and delicious!!

6.5/10Warm and friendly welcoming. Good food, exept for fried fish which was just mediocre. On the negative side, we had to wait almost one hour for our first dishes to be served and a very, very long time for main courses. We were told they got more customers than anticipated. maybe we were just unlucky, but two hours to dine was far too much.

We had a wonderful lunch at Trattoria Sotto L’Arco. The tagliatelle with fresh porcini were amazing, service was super nice and friendly. Lastly, prices are really fair for the quality you get. Highly recommended!

10/10The owner came to the table himself to greet us and made sure to explain the menu since we do not speak/read Italian. He made us feel welcome. The food was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The ambience was cozy and charming. This place is a gem!

10/10Such a cozy authentic Italian restaurant. All the guests are from the little town of San Polo. The atmosphere is super cute, specially at night time. The food is typical tuscan and super good. I do recommend the Mortadella and Pistachio Pizza and the Tagliatta di Manzo with Arugula and Parmensan cheese. I do hope the place keeps as authenthic as it is now and doesnt lose the town vibe.
