9.5/10Fully deserving of high rating - great food (olive oil and eggplant have family connections), and pasta is superb - with excellent service. Close (5 minutes) walk from metro (uphill!), so convenient.

10/10Very nice ambience and the food presentation was beautiful . The scallops were cooked perfectly. Only criticism would be that the tiramisu lacked the usual flavor blend of coffee, chocolate and rum .

6.5/10The atmosphere was quiet and very cool especially after my visit in this summer time. I really enjoyed the salad for my starter but the main dish (the octopus with bolognese sauce) was not my favorite. I could have chosen something else but maybe another time.

Dear Sir we are sorry for the atmosphere you feel is not welcome, I would like to inform you that we have never made octopus bolognese in the 7 years we have been open, I would appreciate it for the next time if there is one, before making a criticism especially in the eyes of customers you need to know what you are writing and criticising. 9/10We had an amazing meal at Ulivo! We had one of the entree specials and it was the MOST delicious, flavourful thing I've ever eaten. So heavenly! They also brought out complementary bruschetta which was so sweet and appreciated. The dishes were not cheap of course, but for a special lunch like we were having it was perfect and of course the quality and taste makes it worth the price.

8.5/10The staff were amazing and welcome us with a special treat. The food was really good but a little but short in quantity. It is a little far away from city center but has an amazing indoor environment and the whole design is fancy. I would highly recommend for a date.

10/10Great restaurant, great food, great people. One of the best and friendliest services I had in Switzerland! They gave us some bruschettas to taste the amazing olive oil they produce in their land in Italy and it’s was insanely good. Same for the food and ambiance. Can recommend 200% and will definitely be back!

10/10Located just outside the Old town please do not be put off by the outside appearance of this charming restaurant. This authentic Italian was truly a great find. The service was friendly and genuine, the kids less adventurous tastes were facilitated and for the adults the super fresh, home made dishes were delightful. All topped off with wonderful desserts and a delicious dessert wine. Ambience was warm and inviting. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning

10/10Very nice place, we were the first guests on a Friday night, but it filled up pretty well. The main dishes and desserts were excellent (pasta with lamb ragout and rhubarb cheesecake) and I would gladly go again soon just for trying that cheesecake again! The starters had a bit less success with my group, but the service was impeccable, as was the wine recommendation.
