We had dinner yesterday evening for the first time at Ulivo in Lausanne and loved it. Everything was perfect from the friendly greetings by the restaurant owner Nicola the moment you walk in to the service, excellent wine suggestion and delicious Italian food. We will certainly further recommend this restaurant and come back ourselves ! Matthias Brunetti

The waiter was excellent. Very italian and very professional. The food was also excellent, delicate and inventive. I really appreciated the experience and the evening with my family.

Eating in this restaurant is always a pleasure. From the warm welcome to the modern and trendy decor , impeccable service and delicious food. The products are fresh , varied and inventive. We highly recommend it.

The menu choices were rather limited but every single plate we ordered was excellent! Also, nice wine list and recommendations.

Fully deserving of high rating - great food (olive oil and eggplant have family connections), and pasta is superb - with excellent service. Close (5 minutes) walk from metro (uphill!), so convenient.

Very nice ambience and the food presentation was beautiful . The scallops were cooked perfectly. Only criticism would be that the tiramisu lacked the usual flavor blend of coffee, chocolate and rum .

The atmosphere was quiet and very cool especially after my visit in this summer time. I really enjoyed the salad for my starter but the main dish (the octopus with bolognese sauce) was not my favorite. I could have chosen something else but maybe another time.
UlivoDear Sir we are sorry for the atmosphere you feel is not welcome, I would like to inform you that we have never made octopus bolognese in the 7 years we have been open, I would appreciate it for the next time if there is one, before making a criticism especially in the eyes of customers you need to know what you are writing and criticising. I personally find your comments disgusting and incompetent. I wish you a good day Nicola Fiamingo

We had an amazing meal at Ulivo! We had one of the entree specials and it was the MOST delicious, flavourful thing I've ever eaten. So heavenly! They also brought out complementary bruschetta which was so sweet and appreciated. The dishes were not cheap of course, but for a special lunch like we were having it was perfect and of course the quality and taste makes it worth the price.

Great restaurant, great food, great people. One of the best and friendliest services I had in Switzerland! They gave us some bruschettas to taste the amazing olive oil they produce in their land in Italy and it’s was insanely good. Same for the food and ambiance. Can recommend 200% and will definitely be back!

This restaurant was a superb experience ! Nicely decorated, quality dishes and excellent wine ! The warmth of the waiters was appreciated ! I will highly recommend this restaurant to any person looking for an excellent italian restaurant in Lausanne !

Food and wine were delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. Clearly it is in the upper price bracket. But that is alright when everything works out.

Great restaurant just outside the city centre of Lausanne. The food and service were both really good. Price was very reasonable given the quality.

Located just outside the Old town please do not be put off by the outside appearance of this charming restaurant. This authentic Italian was truly a great find. The service was friendly and genuine, the kids less adventurous tastes were facilitated and for the adults the super fresh, home made dishes were delightful. All topped off with wonderful desserts and a delicious dessert wine. Ambience was warm and inviting. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning

Genuine and authentic Italian tradition. Good advice, highly attentive service. Dishes were well prepared, beautifully presented , authentic and in ideal (moderate) quantities for dinner.

Excellent Italian restaurant in Lausanne with very kind waiters, great selection of dishes with delicious products. My friends and I had only one concern: the size of dishes are a bit too small. Otherwise I recommend a table there !

Nice luminous and well decorated little restaurant with food prepared with high quality ingredients that taste really great. Service is smiling and welcoming. Will go back for sure
