This was our most awkward dining experience to date. The restaurant seemingly hadn’t received our The Fork reservation. They looked shocked as we arrived at 8:15pm for our 8:30pm booking as they looked like they were getting ready to close. We showed our booking confirmation on the phone screen and they thought we were showing them a picture of a meal we wanted (there was an image embedded in the email). It all got almost comically confusing. Unfortunately the language barrier didn’t help. There was nobody else in the restaurant. They had to turn the music back on for us. The food was decent, tasty and a good level of spice. The rating for service was based on the lack of understanding. We had booked taxis to get us to the restaurant it was all in all an odd and disappointing experience despite the staff being obliging as they tried to salvage the situation.

The staff is not welcoming, they did not come to check on us at all during the whole meal, just when they brought us the main course that the server removed our unfinished starters without asking us! I ordered a beer bottle and it was not cold, was a big bottle which was such a waist as it got warmer by the second. There is no ventilation therefore it was unpleasantly warm. The food was ok, but minimal, I ordered the zizling chicken and it was a tiny salad, some strange soup, a little rice, a sauce very similar to the one for chicken tikamasala. The zizling chicken came separately, too hot to even grab the lime, the presentation of the food was average. Our server never came to our table, so we decided to not order deserts. I had to get up from my table to find him to pay, even when we did tell him we booked through the fork and we had 30% off the food, he had to call his boss to ask him how to put the discount in the system. I do NOT recommend this place! Disappointing!
