10/10We ate at Vin et Marie Maine-Montparnasse on our first and last nights in Paris. Everything about our second meal was as good as the first which I also reviewed. The food this second time was delicious and the service was great-attentive but not intrusive. My husband and I ordered the grilled sea bass for two and it was expertly prepared tableside. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was an excellent complement to the fish, enhancing the dish but not overpowering the delicate taste of the sea bass. I would highly recommend Vin et Marie Maine Montparnasse. Thank you for another memorable meal.

10/10We ordered the scallops and sea bass and both were excellent. We then shared an order of pastry flan and it was the perfect end to a great meal!

8.5/10We had a lovely dinner for our last night in Paris. We enjoyed the mussels and Sole special. Both were delicious! Only downfall was that we were not seen to for a drink or anything for 25 minutes which was a little odd. It wasn’t that busy during this time and most tables were into their dessert. Food came out quickly but if we had a drink earlier it would have been better.

8/10Good fish and seafood restaurant. We went on the Sunday with young kids. We were probably the only ones lots of older generation families having lobster. That said, the kids were very well looked after and we enjoyed the mail. They were missing a runner when we went and it showed a bit but nothing dreadful. Food was good and tasty. All was fresh.

3/10We were so disappointed as we had eaten at another location of the restaurant the night before and were expecting a similar experience. We had a reservation and after we were seated we were left alone for over 30 minutes without any service., even water. We ordered the same meals as the night before and they weren't nearly as good, but we were charged more. Our reservation was for 8:15. We left as soon as we finished our meal and could get the waiters attention to pay the bill.. It was around 11 pm. No dessert, just main dinner. The worst experience we've had in Paris.

9.5/10Great as ever. Seems to be picking up with business again now but service is as good as ever. Best baba au rhum, fish soup and sole around. Slightly older clients but really reliable and relaxed.

8.5/10Everything perfect. The only disappointing thing (but this was also my fault) that they didn’t apply the 20% discount as provided for reservation at 19:30. I forgot about it so I didn’t ask but they also ignored it. For the rest, the quality and service was good.

4/10The manager was not informed about réservation which was confirmed. He was finding réservation when we ask him to check his computer. The sitting on table was 40 mn after time confirmed. Service on table was catastrophique, food is coming very slow , even when the food come out the kitchen , we saw the food waiting and nobody is there to make the food on table. Even when we finish starters or main coursers no person is coming to take out empty plates. Really , it was too much catastrophic.

5/10From first day in Paris, I was excited to try Vin & Marée. I could go into detail about our unfortunate experience but it was so awful it might possibly question its (the review’s) credulity. Our experience was truly as though sketched by an SNL writer whose intent was to comically depict the French distain for Americans which might have been funny, had it not been happening, in person, to us. We thought that surely at least the food would rival the deliciousness of every other meal we had in Paris, but alas, while better than the way we were treated, was incredibly mediocre. If you are aren’t French or don’t speak fluently, don’t go, unless you’d like to be treated in the mostly unbelievably stereotypical way of the hapless tourist.

5/10The waitress COULD have asked MUCH earlier how the fish dishes were! Also “mashed potatoes” (without mentioning any choice) with the fish (bass/bar) is TERRIBLE.

6/10Asked for another table. Reply was: you should have requested that at ibooking your table… Smoked salmon was too salty and sole meuniere too well cooked. Fruit de mer perfect!
