The food, service and ambiance exceeds expectations in every way. Freshest most delicious sushi and sashimi - the finest sushi IN NYC isn’t as wonderful as this. We were so warmly welcomed - grateful for a fabulous dining experience.

Waku Waku is an exciting addition to the restaurant scene in Tropea, offering a delightful Japanese-Calabrian omakase. The chef is brilliant, and the quality-to-price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended!

I’m from Japan and enjoyed the chef Danielle’s sushi very much. As he abundantly uses local fish, you can’t eat this sushi anywhere else. One of a kind experience. Sake, beer, shochu list was excellent. He changes menu quite often. Whenever I return to Tropea, I would go back. Omakase menu is highly recommended as the chef explains details. He does it in Italian, English and Japanese.

Super nice service with very friendly and casual environment. Loved tasting all the great and well prepared japonsese food. A very MAGICAL experience.
