8/10Lovely setting although when we were there the view of the lake was obscured by some kind of fair going on so all the stall tents blocked us from seeing much of the lake. The service and ambiance were first class however compared to an afternoon tea at a good hotel in London the food was not up to the same standard. I had the gluten free option but that was very different to the standard fare, with very basic chunky bread rolls and the sweet bites were not up to much. I’ll give it a miss next time.

10/10This has become a small tradition for my husband and I where we hold an intimate celebrate at the Hotel d’Angleterre and each time we go, the food, the service, and the ambiance is exquisite.

8/10Very attentive and friendly service. Enjoyable atmosphere with beautiful views of the lake. Finger sandwiches were a hit and miss. Decent scone and pastries.

6/10We had several different servers, which made the service a bit lacking. We had to wait a long time at the end to get our bill. Also, because we were speaking English, the server who came for the payment started talking about the tip…. Expecting a tip in Europe because the customers are American is not a good look.

10/10We booked a table for the Afternoon Tea for our 3-year wedding anniversary. It was my husband’s first time, but I have done the high tea at least 3 times in the past and have always enjoyed it. Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience just lovely. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

9/10Lovely afternoon in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous backdrop of the Geneva lake and Jet d’Eau! We had a traditional Afternoon Tea menu that included loads of things which was quite a lot of things to eat. The English scones are of course just an absolute delight.

6.5/10The afternoon tea food was ok. The scones are delicious, the cupcake lovely, the panacota incredible. The eclair was dry, cookie not great and I was not a fan of the sandwiches. The tea was incredible!! The service was great at the start but after we were served we felt forgotten.

10/10Everything was excellent - from ambience and food, to service and food presentation. Especially the service was remarkable. I mentioned in my reservation that we were coming to celebrate our wedding anniversary and not only did we get the nicest table by the window and were greeted like VIP guests, but in the end of the tea time, Ophelie (hope I remembered the name right) brought us happy anniversary cakes with two candles and a writing. We were so happy! You really made our day! Thank you so much! Will definitely visit again.

10/10Booked for our 20 years together with my wife who wanted to attend this for years. No regrets, this was absolutely delightful. Thus it's quite expensive, the serving is very generous, and fabulous. And the Champagne Ruinart is great !

10/10Amazing and adorable place, with a succulent afternoon tea and lovely service. We spent a small friends gathering and it was simply perfect. The prices are also very reasonable, we will definitely go back!

8.5/10Lovely location overlooking the lake. Friendly and helpful staff. The afternoon tea was prettily presented with nice selection of sandwiches and small cakes/desserts, but wasn’t impressed by the scones.
