2/10Yakuza was not a bad experience, TheFork was. I’m doing a bad review to bring awareness to people that TheFork is misleading and disrespecting their users. They trick you into making a reservation with a discount, but in fact the reservation is confirmed without the discount. Initially I thought this was a basic concurrency programming error. But no, after talking with support, this is on purpose!! You are not respecting your users, so this company will ultimately FAIL.

10/10+3Yakuza – A Sushi Experience Like No Other I’ve been lucky enough to try some of the best sushi spots in Austin, LA, Vegas, Dublin, and NYC, so walking into Yakuza in Lisbon, my expectations were sky-high. Let me just say, this place didn’t just meet them—it blew them out of the water. I went solo during my honeymoon as my wife slept after a long travel day. She does not like sushi but will be taking her back for hit bites that looked like something she would like! The Vibes The moment you step up Yakuza, you know you’re in for something special. The sleek, modern exterior requiring a buzz in, paired a beautiful interior with upbeat house music, sets an energetic yet refined tone. The space is spotless, stylish, and buzzing in a way that makes the whole evening feel effortlessly cool. The Food: Nigiri Done Right I decided to stick to nigiri for this meal, letting the chefs show off their skills—and wow, they delivered. Every piece was flawless, with every bite perfection!

10/10all the atmosphere was incredible. The staff were very nice and helpful with the explanations for the menu and what to choose. They paid close attention to our food restrictions and made the best recommendations. and the food was incredibly tasty! excellent sushi! congrats to the Chefs and to the full staff for the great atmosphere.

10/10I had the lunch menu, was better than what i expected, they had bottled water without paying extra, the menu included a starter, plate, and drink besides the water and a coffee. The quality of the food was amazing, fresh ingredients, for the lunch menu price it doesn't get better than that, will for sure going to be visiting regularly.

2/10We were informed by our waiter that they had no meat or fish for the evening… so we could only order sushi. If this was the case, why did they not contact us prior to let us know instead of let us find out late in the evening when we sat on table and had no other options? Food was also mediocre and that is being very generous.

10/10Always a great option for lunch, but the new service charge of 7% is annoying as it is not a suggested tip that can be overruled in the card payment process - not that I mind tipping the staff - but O really do not like the tip to go via the restaurant official accounts. I encourage Oliver to re-think this approach. Tip should’ve for grate service an while the service of serving a bottle of wine is equal regardless of the price is € 30 or € 300 - percentages does and should not not be used in Europe/Portugal.

8.5/10They claimed that we ordered a bottle of water, but in reality, there was never a bottle on our table—they just poured us two glasses of water, yet charged us for a full bottle. We had separately ordered other drinks and were more than willing to pay for those. So when we saw a charge for a liter of water on the bill, we were confused and left with a very negative impression.

8.5/10It’s our 4th time in Yakuza (Lisboa and Algarve) in a total of 6 years and I can say that the quality of the food is good and service too. But because of the hype and change of location, it lost a bit of its charm. You expect from the price paid and location a food orgasm but it doesn’t happen, it’s just good food and good quality.

10/10Well what started off wrong, ended off perfectly. We made a reservation for 9pm but when we arrived the hostesses were anxious with the hour and offered a seat at the bar as the tables would take a while longer. It was clear the reservation accepted for 9pm would not be respected and we waited and waited for our table, which came an hour later. Alls well that ends well. The restaurant ambience is sofisticated, the service by Ana was personal and full of care. She always made sure we were well treated, and the food!!… It’s amazing. A bit of Nikkei with pure japonese perfection and the plates were full of flavor and exquisite. Every single one of them. The staff was genuinely aware that the reservation confirmation for 9pm was impossible (management wants people to show up and consume at the bar) and they tried everything to make the night perfect I commend them for it. I recommend reservation either early or after 9:30pm. It’s a great restaurant and with great staff and food. GO!
