7.5/10Dessert(soufflé and baba) ok, not as good as many other pastry shops or restaurants. Bouillabaisse ok but on creamy side and not typical of traditional bouillabaisse found in Marseille. Appetizers ( foie gras and lobster salad) tasty. With 50pc rebate from the Fork, total came to about 110 euros for 2 (including half Bottle wine wine). Overall, decent value and not memorable.

8/10Ok. The food was excellent, and the service was fine, except that we were specifically guided *away* from à la carte to the “menu”. The waitress knew we had chosen “-50% sur la carte - L'Été des Champions”, but the “menu” was *not* included in the 50% off. We felt this was dishonest and we were actively mis-guided by the waitress.

10/10This was our second visit. As before, the fish was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. A must if you are in the vicinity of the Gare de Lyon.

7/10Nice string, quiet, nice table, we were the first there at 7pm. The pan fried squid was quite good. The seafood boullaibase was very mediocre at best. Okay but not great soup base, and the only seafood to be found was three average size fillet of fish. We have had much richer and varied seafood boullaibase in Canada west coast were we live.

2/10The food was very bad! Maybe the worst restaurant we ate ever in Paris ! The prices expensive, the portions were small. One of the dishes We ordered was lobster ravioli and we got some fried burn dough and even though I told them, they charged us for the dish

Tonio

7.5/10Service 5 *****, drinks 4 ****, food 2.5 **- We were greeted very warmly, by who I assume is the owner, and we’re seated in a lovely private area to the side of the entrance. He explained the menu and was great. We started with drinks, I had a glass of champagne, 1st cru, and my wife had a Chablis. It went down hill from there. I ordered the three course prix fixe, Lobster filled raviolis, whole lobster sliced, and fromage. The lobster stuffing was the fishiest tasting “lobster” I ever tasted, it had to be mixed with old fish. The main dish, the lobster was tough and again fishy tasting. The worst part, unless I misunderstand the discounts advertised was that we received a discount only on my wife’s plat principal. At least my fromage for dessert was good.

6/10A warm welcome on arrival. And we were seated at a table in the window. (Some very loud Americans then also arrived - and all night you could hear their running commentary - funny how some people love to be heard.) Menu's only in French, however the chef spoke excellent English and assisted in understanding. We had foie gras to start which was very tasty and served with fresh bread (expensive at 28euro for the size). And for main course my husband had a steak and I had the tuna. Both dishes were okay but after two fabulous meals (A Petit Bistrot and Les Filles - both in Rue Mouffetard) at half the price, we really found A la Fregate disappointing and expensive for what you had. The wine list started at +50euro for a bottle.

10/10What a find! Just happened to see this on the fork when getting into town late in the day. Reserved and walked from train station. Food was excellent and the service warm and friendly. Met the chef who even bid us farewell personally. The deconstructed lobster was wonderful as were the souffles. Would definitely return. If you are near Gare Lyon this one is worth checking out. Also near the Promenade Plantee.
