6.5/10One of our strangest dining experiences on Ischia unfolded at a restaurant that, at first glance, seemed every bit the serious meat destination it claimed to be. Upon arrival, we immediately spotted fresh porcini mushrooms—a promising sign. We ordered a carpaccio of fresh porcini to share, followed by a bistecca fiorentina and grilled porcini as our main course. The porcini carpaccio was exquisit. The grilled porcini that followed were equally impressive. Then came the bistecca fiorentina, and the experience took a sharp turn. Some slices were fine, others were overcooked, unpleasantly tough, or uncomfortably fatty. Stranger still, the cuts on our plate didn’t even appear to come from the same steak. Either the bistecca itself was of dismal quality, or we had been served a patchwork of different pieces passed off as one—a rather serious lapse for a restaurant that prides itself on its meat. It was a disappointing twist to an otherwise enjoyable setting.

10/10Amazing shared starter. And my main of steak with rosemary was incredible. Was great to get so many meat options compared to the coastal offerings. The pizza was also great and wish we had time to come back a second time. Highly recommend.
