Fantastic restaurant! I literally have no words to describe it! The chef was talking to us and explaining how he get the inspiration. Such a humble person! The flavors, the combination, the atmosphere, everything amazing! Totally recommend it!

The restaurant is beautiful. We ordered 7 courses tasting menu which was phenomenal, but a little bit too much. Next time we are in Cagliari we will visit Amano again. Simply the best food.

This is a jewel of a restaurant. Small and intimate with only 6 or 7 tables. The head chef takes your orders and presents the dishes, all in a charming, unpretentious way. The food is imaginative and sublime. And the value is exceptional relative to most restaurants of this quality. An experience to remember for a long time

Amano is a tiny restaurant of five 2-tops and one table seating 8. This guarantees that the staff is ultra attentive. The chef, personally introduces you to the menu and answer any question. The food is Sardinian with other influences and very modern. Don't expect large bowls of pasta. Instead, you will have several courses of intense flavors with originality. For this type pf presentation, the prices are very reasonable. While it is upscale, it is not pretensionous. It's fun.

Our experience at Amano was a memorable one. The chef poured his passion for his art into providing us with a fantastic dish after a fantastic dish, each full of well balanced ingredients and breathtaking flavours, all reminding us that making food can indeed transcend a mere gastronomic experience. Amano is a restaurant that absolutely needs to be experienced.

I rarely found high quality gastronomy in Islands or vacation destinations in General. But this restaurant is for sure among the best ones I've tried in this range of price. I even find it less expensive than what it should be. The chef brings himself the dishes, with some explanations. All the employees are smiling and very professional.The only small change I would have made would have been to space out the time between each course to slow down the pace, which I found rather fast. But that's nothing compared to the quality of the food and service. Thank you for making my husband's birthday dinner memorable !

From the street it looks very low key, but inside it is a warm and welcoming atmosphere with good spacing between tables. We had the 7 course menu with a theme of tomato in many wonderful ways. The head chef/owner was a serving all the dishes with good explanation of the composition. We had some good local white wine to go with the food. Prices are reasonable for 3 hours of comfort and enjoyment. We would come back any time for another evening of good food.

Amano served amazing dishes all with a twist. We at the best tuna belly I have ever had here. All the seafood was fresh and delicious. And the deconstructed tiramisu was a wonderful experience. The chef took time out to talk to us about the dishes. The wine paring was excellent. They even managed to accommodate a gluten free diet. A great experience I would highly recommend!

If you’re lucky enough to book a reservation here , consider yourself fortunate and prepare yourself for a gastronomical experience. The best possible way to explain this is to simply taste the genus inspired dishes and see for yourself

Great food, good wines and a nice touch that the chef comes at the table himself to explain the dishes. The only thing missing was a dessert wine as the desserts were incredible.

The highlight of our short trip to Cagliari! We arrived bit late for our reservation, but was warmly welcomed by the chef. The food was simply amazing, we loved every bite of each course. Very nicely presented and the meal was an explosion of various tastes, but somehow it melted all very well togheter. The proposed wines to each course was a perfect combination. My husband and I had different starters, main dishes and desserts, but we both feel we had a few hours of food heaven! Well done to the chef and his team!!
