Foods are good and well presented. Service was very good as well. Though location is not very convenient, will definitely go again next time. We were group of six people and we had a wonderful night.

Barcelona is one of my favourites in the world, the variety and the quality of the food is second to none. This was my second time to Arume, my first time pre Covid… I was not disappointed. The menu had revolved and every dish was absolutely delicious. I was hungry this time around. My wife and I had the the grilled octopus and croquettes to start. They were Delicious! My wife went with the Pumpkin ravioli and I went with the grilled steak and padron peppers for main… the steak was cooked to perfection, it was a tasty and hearty meal! For desert we shared the chocolate biscuit with ice cream and the cheesecake… Why I love this place? You feel very welcome as soon as you arrive, we had a cocktail to begin while waiting for our table… the staff genuinely make an effort , with a smile and they all have perfect English. The place has a lovely ambience and some really quirky design elements… it’s a lovely space to sit, eat, talk, observe. Finally the prices and value for money. Nice!

It was a pretty bad experience—definitely a tourist trap. The Asian/Latino crew attempted to replicate local cuisine but failed. The food was overpriced, and the seafood paella tasted bland and bitter, leaving a long-lasting bad aftertaste. The ingredients seemed to be deep-frozen. The atmosphere was unpleasant, located in a sketchy part of town. I can’t understand how they receive good reviews. Other tables nearby also complained about their dishes.

The hostess/server, Precious, went out of her way to accommodate our request to sit in the front room. She was a delight all evening. Our favorites were the ceviche, beef tartare, duck paella, and of course the blackberry mojitos! Also, don’t skip the house bread! There’s a bar behind the restaurant called “Never”, I believe it’s the same owner. Great cocktails and ambiance.
