great service, great steak, second time and as good as the first. Highly recommend

I’m from the US, so not sure what Entrocote de beouf is in terms of part of the cow. But I doubt if I have experienced a steak that was so difficult to eat due to its varied texture. So that’s on me. The filet would have been a better choice. Otherwise, the appetizer was good, and my wife’s salmon was excellent. The Pinot Noir was also very good.

First off, this is the most authentic French restaurant we’ve experienced. The food was absolutely delicious — especially the lamb shoulder and the bone marrow with fried onions. Every bite was rich and full of flavor. The service was beyond helpful, especially for us Americans who don’t speak perfect French. The staff made us feel welcome, guided us through the menu, and added to the overall experience.

The 22 Euro white asparagus lived up to its price -- perfectly tender and swimming in a wonderfully subtle sauce. The Saint Emilion red was very nice, and the chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream was deliciously decadent. But the beef entrecote was chewy and decidedly pedestrian in flavor. The restaurant was already overcrowded within 45 minutes of opening (on a Wednesday), so it seems to be quite popular, especially with Americans. The wait staff was professional and hard-working and very patient with my lousy French. Within one block of Saint Sulpice.

Best meal we had during our four night stay near the Rue Canettes. Friendly informative staff and the dinner was beautifully presented and not copious amounts which suited us v well.

The eggs with chorizo were a delight and my fillet of beef cooked to perfection. Staff warm and friendly. We also had sardines served in a tin, which was a lovely bit of theatre and followed by steak tartare. Our third visit !

Atelier Roulière is one of our favorite restaurants in Paris. It’s not touristy and allows you to dine as a “local”. The food is always fresh, innovative and delicious. The service is impeccable.

A very convivial atmosphere, definitely a neighborhood favorite. Great service and very understanding of our inability to speak French. Wine recommendations were spot-on. The meals were so delicious we came back a second time.
