Food was first rate! I'm a fan of foie gras, so this was a must. It was among the best I've had in Paris. I tried the eggs poached in mushroom cream and it was divine. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I discovered Au Bon Coin at the end of my trip. But I'll be back.

Salmon cooked perfectly but mushrooms were COLD. Unlike the charming male server and colleagues, we had a brusque woman who ignored us when we declined cocktails and wine with our meal. We were too full for dessert, so she slapped the bill on the table before we asked for it. When I made sure she’d registered my reservation on the Fork she assumed I wanted a discount and snapped “that doesn’t change anything.” I told her I only wanted my points. She must have had an off night in this good restaurant

It must be anyone's dream of an atmostpheric Parisian eaterie. Such a good lunch normally. A very good veloute. This time the main veal dish was a little too bland and the cake dessert just a bit dry. Been so good every other time.

The food at Coin is always special....the Boudin Noir with the pommes, superb! The plats d'jour are always wonderful. The soups, the canard, the foie gras, always tre bien. The service is always warm and considerate. Wonderful staff, wonderful kitchen, and wonderful ambience.

We have been to Au Bon Coin twice in the past 6 weeks. The food(rumsteak) was tender and cooked to perfection the first time we ate there, but the 2nd time the steak was tough and undercooked(we had asked for the steak to be cooked medium). The service was excellent on both occasions as was the atmosphere.
