A hidden gem in a side-street in the Marolles. The menu offers a palette of Belgian specialties. It is a welcome pleasure that these include dishes that are increasingly rare elsewhere: marrow bones, offal, black pudding, rabbit. My only quibble on the food side: the rather ordinary croquettes and unimaginative side vegetables. Good ambience and attentive service. Altogether highly recommended.

Fast and superb service. Food is great. Mussels in white wine with fries and house white wine is highly-recommended.

A hidden gem with great classic dishes and top-quality, friendly service. Probably the best carbonnade I have eaten. Fully recommend for a hearty meal in a nice atmosphere

I was struggling finding a Belgian restaurant prior our arrival in the city .. I’ve found this place in a blog and thought “why not” .. Omg it has been such a nice experience! Fair prices in line with the quality of food (delicious); traditional Belgian dishes; and surrounded by locals in a such lovely cosy restaurant. The only little detail that let me slightly disappointed were the Belgian fries served with mussels, unfortunately they were clearly frozen and I was personally expecting fresh cut fries. Polite and efficient staff, overall a perfect night! Definitely highly recommended.

So glad we went here a bit out of the way but worth the trek up the hill. Staff very welcoming and I couldn't fault the food. Wine was also very nice. Had Mussels and steak, highly recommend. Hope to visit again in the not so distant future.

Great food, huge portions, great service, the beef stew was awesome, the price was fair, the slog of having to get to one hundred and twenty characters is tiring.

THIS MADE IN MAROLLES RESTAURANT has become a benchmark for Brussels breweries. In a completely authentic décor made of wooden benches, mirrors and two counters.
THE FRANCO-BELGIAN CUISINE is elevated here to the rank of bistronomy, typical of traditional breweries with classic and good tasty beers.
THIS SIGNBOARD, already boasting 35 years of experience, does not show signs of ageing and is still a place frequented by artists and many others who continue to keep it alive.
