Go there very hungry, especially if you have the knuckle of ham. Couldn’t make it to the fries, which were good, as the ham was such a monster. I have given the food 4, only to reflect the superb service which was even better than the food. Ideally I would have given the food 5 and the service 6.

The first night of our trip was enjoyable, and good to be able to eat outside. A food selection of Belgian beers, reasonably priced, but no tap water available. Bottled water (still) was 5.80 euro for 50cl which seems excessive.

The staff are this restaurants biggest asset very welcoming and friendly. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the choice of Belgian beers on draft but also bone unusual bottled beerdwas also available,. Service was slow

We dined outside but cheerfully under cover. The service couldn't be faulted. Friendly and efficient but we were never hurried either. The food was really tasty and plenty of it, sadly we had no room for desert. I was dining with 2 teenage boys and the staff treated me like a queen. I enjoyed an amaretto on the house at the end of our meal. It wasn't the cheapest meal we have eaten in Brussels but it was certainly the most enjoyable. There was a pleasing music choice in the background, 80's mainly which added to the ambience. I recommend booking on a weekend as there were people queueing to eat. A wonderful evening had by all.

Chose it based on reviews and was disappointed all around. My beef was tough, and flavorless. Potatoes flavorless. Beer good. Service good. Maybe should have tried the mussels.
