First time in Gijon; expanded our understanding of Asturian cuisine. First rate everything; enjoyable setting on the water; staff; also felt the food and experience was a good value.

+4We did the Gran Menu Tasting along with wine pairing, a sublime experience!

Spectacular dinner and service!

We were really impressed with the food and the team. This was easily one of the better experiences we've had. We enjoyed the tasting menu (10 course) and left satisfied and talking about the meal. Raved about it with our friends (along with the many photos). Well worth the price point.

Food was fantastic - beautiful - service was perfect

Excellent tasting menu experience for lunch. A lot of food but we knew that going in to it and wanted to experience as much of the menu as we could.

Fantastic location with breathtaking views. Interior design somewhat sober (the window was broken and didn’t close, since we’re a bit cold). Food is outstanding - really great balance of flavors, fresh ingredients, creativ cooking. Service sub-standard. Sommelier’s knowledge not what is desired.

Very flavorful and delicate. The main dish (fish), like butter.. chocolate/passion fruit dessert, exquisite!

Superb! From the moment we had the moment that the SALMOREJO amuse bouche arrived. Loved the beautiful creativity but the flavors were the main reason we enjoyed the restaurant. Simple dishes like the Fabada Asturiana and the arroz con leche, which I have tried multiple times over the year, we’re memorable and I will go back just to try them again. Service manages to stay on top, and the staff is quite friendly. Prices were high but totally justified for the quality (much better priced than other Michelin listed restaurants that we have had). Highly recommend.

The service was not of a Michelin Star restaurant

My experience at Auge was truly unique, reminiscent of a scene from a Pedro Almodóvar movie. The ambiance was captivating, and the stunning sunset added to the overall charm of the place. The service was impeccable, with every detail taken care of in a precise and thoughtful manner. The staff, though not overly enthusiastic, displayed a remarkable level of knowledge and humility. There was a melancholic yet elegant vibe to the restaurant, which created a distinct and memorable atmosphere. The food was carefully prepared and presented, though I would have preferred it to be served on hotter plates. Similar to the staff's demeanor, the dishes were lukewarm, which slightly affected my overall enjoyment. Nonetheless, Auge is a must-stop destination, and I believe it's worth going out of your way to experience this culinary gem in Gijón. The restaurant's unique charm, excellent service, and skillfully crafted dishes make it an unforgettable dining experience.

Lovely server who spoke English and helped us through the 6 course tasting - she is a gem from Mexico! Gorgeous venue and amazing food- worth the trip from Aviles!

+1The tasting menu took all the angst out of choosing and was beautifully prepared and presented. We were lucky to have the undivided attention of the one English speaking waitress who really made the experience for us.

Worth the (not cheap) price....outstanding cuisine. Special mention to the Wine Cellar.

Food was excellent, but the kitchen way too slow for a Michelin Star restaurant (45min between appetizers and food is simply excessive). Either they get better fast, or they will lose the star the next time Michelin reviews the restaurant.

Excellent, well executed meal. The goats cheese soup with honey was the real highlight for me. Great wine and service. Reasonably priced for a Michelin starred establishment. Would happily come again.

We had the tasting menu. It was a great combination of ingredients and tastes. We opted for wine pairing. That matched very good. The only typical thing was that the empty glasses remained on our table.

Definitely not worth it. I’m surprised it has one Michelin Star because it does not deserve it. It’s very sad because I had high expectations with this restaurant but it did not live to my expectations. The service was the worst part, the staff was borderline disrespectful almost as they did not care about us. The food was just OK but for the high price of the dishes, I was expecting something delicious.
