Well curated and prepared dishes! Lovely wine list—had a Godello from the interesting whites section and loved it! Oysters were as tasty as gorgeous, the fried fish fun as it was tasty, and the desserts were surprising with their texture and flavors❤️ Our third time in Gijon and Gloria is a “must” whenever we visit!

We were well received and given a choice of tables. Excellent advice on what to order from the menu. Service and quality of food above expectation at a reasonable price. Music a little bit too loud otherwise an evening to repeat.

We were given a reduced menu, both the English and Spanish version. We were only given clean cutlery for the main course after the starter when we mentioned it.

First time dining here, and what a lovely experience! I wanted to introduce my children to fine dining, and although I came with two teenagers, we were warmly welcomed, not a single odd look. We don’t speak a word of Spanish, but the staff kindly and patiently explained each dish and how best to enjoy it, always with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious, real explosions of flavor on every plate. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, making the whole experience a true pleasure. Highly recommended if you’re looking to enjoy refined cuisine and a memorable dining experience. Perfect for when you want something a bit more special!

Slow service, not due to laziness, lack of personal

Could do with a deco flash or similar to lighten the atmosphere and, likewise renew the menu, including some new proposals. The croquettes were great, they are still best or second best in town. Ensaladilla is good but you can find better and the grilled artichoque plain.

The smoked eggplant was divine and one of the best tartas de queso I’ve ever eaten.

Food is consistently good, some of the dishes are epic, from the "humble" croquettes -eat them with your fingers and then licked them- tortilla de patata, a must, it comes with a small simple salad that is also delicious. The dish of the day changes with each day of the week it's very good value for money. In our last visit yesterday they suggested the best tomato salad I have ever tried. And some glorious silvery fried sardines! Gloria Gijon is definitely a must. And they are good professionals, friendly and gentle. Great work guys and girls.

My family and I agreed that this may have been best meal we’ve had in Spain. We’ ve been living and traveling all over Spain for the last year so there have been many contenders. The rice in the chicken dish is better than any paella! The steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Never had a white sweet potatoe before and it’s my palate’s new favorite vegetable. Must order the artichoke when in season — it’s a pretty dish and tastes even better. Service was excellent. We had several waiters checking on us constantly and the house manager was attentive and kind. The people watching was also fun! All around, a superb experience.
