I went to this BBQ restaurant recommented by many customers in the Fork as well in TripAdviser, but the food was not good at all. The Tomahawk beefstake was very tought and no good taste as well other meat in mixed grill portion. Only the service was very nice.

Tucked away in Sestri Levante, Barcelleria is a delightful surprise. Hidden behind its entrance, you’ll find an elegantly surprising garden with just a few tables, creating a cozy and authentically Italian setting. As the name suggests “bar + macelleria” this place is best suited to non-vegan customers, with a focus on high-quality regional meats. The staff was both savvy and warmly welcoming, guiding us to choose our preferred taglio of organic local meat. Before that, we enjoyed some exquisite arrosticini, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The combination of genuine hospitality, a charming atmosphere, and excellent food made our visit a memorable one. Grazie Barcelleria, for such a delightful surprise.

My partner and I had dinner here the night of Ferragosto during our trip in Liguria and we absolutely loved it. The service was excellent, attentive, and so friendly. The food was amazing and affordable, and the leftovers lasted us 2 days! We sat outside in the garden too and what a lovely, charming space to pass a warm and starlit summer evening. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely come back. 12/10.

We enjoyed a beautiful steak. The meat spoke for itself tasty and tender without over seasoning. My medium was nearer rare and my husbands rare almost blue but the meat was so good. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We would recommend and return again.
