6.5/10There were definite highpoints, and sadly some low points, to our second visit to Brasserie Woods. Briefly: - wortel/kokos soep = 5 sterren! - ravioli = 5 sterren. Both were delicious - schelvis = 3 sterren. I had enjoyed this the previous visit - 4 sterren - and it was a respectable portion. This time, my wife ordered it, and it was a far too small portion, with only a little tagliatelle without parmesan. Really too bad, such inconsistency. - groene kerrie = 2 sterren. This was practically without taste - overcooked veggies with no curry flavor whatsoever. Very disappointing. - service - 2.5 sterren. We waited 1hr. 15 minutes to be served our main course after the soup. It was not that busy, and eventually my wife made mention to please deliver our meals. We also waited far too long for the average (3 sterren) desserts. The creme brulee was in particular disappointing - little flavor. We might try Brasserie Woods again, but this 2nd visit was quite sadly inconsistent.

8/10The food was delicious - really a 4.5. Service was well intentioned, but a bit lacking in knowledge of their offerings, and attention to detail. Strange that their newly printed menus excluded almost all pricing - could be easily remedied. Fortunately, the food was the standout of the evening, and we will return should we have the chance.
