6.5/10The waiter was very kind, and the atmosphere is like a 1950's diner. The food, as I find in most breakfast restaurants, was mediocre at best. The bacon was overcooked (some of it was burnt), and the potatoes were excessive and rather boring. The bread was white, and I was not offered a healthier version.

10/10The experience was extra special because of a mistake I made. I had made reservations for American Breakfast at a sister location. I was at Notre Dame and googled the name. It was a longer walk than expected and I arrived 40 minutes before closing. They helped contact the sister restaurant. Not once did they rush me. As I was the only customer, it was fun to watch how amiably the group worked together. Thank you for the DELICIOUS lunch, and your comradory. It is a highlight of my trip. Merci beaucoup. Dona

10/10As an American visiting Paris, I was curious and had to try! Plus my wife missed her cup of Joe, which they served hot and bottomless! I tried the pancakes and WOW, better than most diners in the USA. Overall it was a nostalgic and welcoming place with good comfort food and charm. Thank you.
