Terrible New Year's Eve dinner, orchertrated by the Chef, where he mixed all the ingredients without sense. He abused citrus fruits in general, perhaps in honor of Sicily, but he killed all the flavors of the fish and meat. Minimalist quantities, transparent like cuttlefish, and some burnt like letucce. Grilled mandarin leaves impossible to eat, very strong duck flavor, etc. Unfortunately it was a very risky menu for his experience as a chef, he is young, and will surely improve. So we believe that the Michelin guide should not recommend this restaurant. Thaks to the splendid waiters who defended the night.

Excellent choice to dine out in Palermo! We felt as the whole place was ours as we were the only diners this evening, and all attention was given to us by chef, waiter and sommelier Stefano. The degustation menu was an explosion of the feeling and rainbow of unusual combination of seafood tastes accompanied by careful selection of the wines from around Sicily! Definitely recommend!

We visited Charleston in June 2020 and were blown away by the food and service, despite the COVID restrictions at the time. We visited again early August 2022 and were saddened that they quality of the food drastically decreased, while the service (and the prices !) remain high. We had a 6 course meal, and each course was subpar. The first few courses consisted of sliced tomatoes, a slice of eggplant with an anchovy sauce, and a slice of lettuce with strawberry sauce. We opted for the wine pairing as well which was not special. The meal overall was fine but extremely disappointing for a 300+ euro meal for 2 people. We will not return to this restaurant the next time we visit Sicily, and will no longer recommend to visiting friends and family.

Even we had a reservation confirmed by the app when we arrived at the restaurant they did not welcome us ! Saying they did not got any booking request from the Fork (made on internet) . So after de-routing to go to eat specific to Charleston we ended up looking for another restaurant where to eat. Very disspaonted and rude ! Never again there !

Location is really cool and stylish, another world compare to the messy Mondello beach in the front. The dishes are something impossible to find somewhere else in Sicily. pancia e polpo is pork with octopus and cheese it’s really nice! U me tunn is tuna with cherries and something else. The taste was really interesting and match. We took two cusumano’s white wines, really good and very reasonable price! It’s not a place for close minded /stubborn people.
