10/10Chez Georges at the Porte Maillot (be careful because there are others in Paris of the same name) is one of the most authentic and enjoyable traditional restaurants in Paris. We have gone there many times and have never been disappointed. There’s always a superb choice of food, wines by the glass or bottle and the service is outstanding. Of course it’s comfortable in a terrific brasserie style setting. Enjoy!

10/10The food was obviously excellent, even better than excellent, it was a whole experience. I have to say that the scallops were fantastic and the millefeuille dessert with the vanilla ice cream almost made me tear up. The cream, the pastry, the thick vanilla ice cream, each mouthful felt like a dream. Words can barely express how good that food was but what made the whole thing even better was the service. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left everything felt easy, natural. Helpful recommendations (in both english and french), glasses never empty and food brought to the table just when needed. Overall we all had the best time and left feeling like we had found a true parisian gem.

6.5/10Salad and soup was great. Main course Veal was very tough and disappointing. Pavlova for dessert was fabulous and the best part of the whole meal. Service was fine but too fast for the pace of the meal. Atmosphere is nice.

I love that the restaurant is filled with local French people and I love observing what they order for their lunch. Such a cultural ambience! The food without question is delicious since even the Parisiens themselves choose to eat here.

10/10We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Chez George’s and it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made us feel welcome. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a variety of options that cater to all tastes. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece! The flavors were vibrant, the presentation was stunning. It’s clear that the chefs are passionate about their craft and use only the freshest ingredients. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. Our server went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. offering great recommendations and making sure we were happy at every turn. Chez Georges is the place to be. We can’t wait to return and try more of their incredible dishes. Highly recommend!

5.5/10We had high hopes from recommendations of Chez Georges. However if you like staff shouting all the time, drinks thrown into your glass, staff rushing everywhere. Oh and a totally non relaxed ambiance. This is the place to come. The food was ok but nothing special. No class at all at this place. Wine was overpriced ( eg to buy elsewhere €15 and the restaurant selling at €48). My view ‘avoid’! Paris has far more restaurants to choose from.

10/10The server was extremely friendly and although we don’t speak French she helped us navigate the menu and although we didn’t order the mashed potatoes she said we had to try them and brought some, food was fabulous and loved the ambience
