Dining at Cortile Pepe was truly an exceptional experience and it’s very clear why it’s featured in the Michelin Guide. From the first bite, the freshness and quality of the ingredients stood out - every dish was beautifully balanced and thoughtfully prepared. Definitely fine dining but unpretentious. Great cocktails too! The service was impeccable: attentive, professional, and perfectly paced without ever feeling intrusive. What made the evening even more special was the amazing kindness and hospitality of the owner, who genuinely went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Our gratitude is beyond words. The space itself is just as impressive - elegant yet warm, with an ambiance that perfectly complements the cuisine. With so many restaurant options in Cefalù, this is an absolute must. A true highlight of our time in Sicily, can’t wait to come back!

We visited Cortile Pepe in the historic center of Cefalù, expecting a high-end gastronomic experience in line with its fine dining branding. The courtyard ambiance was lovely, with a calm, pleasant sound level and a comfortable outdoor setting that initially put us at ease. Service staff were friendly and attentive throughout the evening. However, at the end, the manager’s persistent thanks felt overly insistent, almost as if pushing for glowing reviews. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the expectations implied by the pricing. Some dishes tasted overwhelmingly of salt, others lacked any distinct flavor. Presentation was inconsistent, some courses looked appealing, others came off as uninspired. One bright spot was dessert, which was enjoyable and well executed. Given the premium price level, the balance of what was delivered fell short. We cannot recommend Cortile Pepe based on our experience and feel that skipping it would spare disappointment.

Superb food and service from the moment we entered the restaurant. We ate from the al a carte menu and had veal cheek and quail+scampi to start followed by the rabbit porchetta and then the tarte tatin. All excellently presented and very tasty. Service attentive throughout

Everything was wonderful! The atmosphere is beautiful. The service was outstanding and the food was exceptional. Exactly what we were hoping for. They even went out of their way to give us wonderful gluten free chefs bites before the appetizer and dessert. A++

Best food so far in Sicily. Well curated menu (4 course tasting), beautifully presented dishes and some genuine surprises. Well worth that bit extra - would recommend to anyone.

Excellent meal with a fantastic presentation. Portions allowed for wonderful tasting in just the right portions. My wife and I typically share and it was perfect! Loved the quaint historical district location. Wish we had realized that you should not drive to the location! As they say it is not possible! Parking in a lot and a short 10 minute walk was nice though.

Imaginative and beautifully presented dishes, attentive and friendly service. We dined early evening (so British) so the restaurant was quiet and lacked atmosphere, however a memorable meal none the less.

Excellent food, service and ambience. We had the set menu and were allowed to swop a couple of courses. The food was absolutely delicious and all the staff super friendly. The sommelier was great in helping us choose a wine from the excellent wine list. This was the best place that we ate in during our 5 night stay in Cefalu. It was memorable and I'd love to go back some day.
