10/10The restaurant is tiny, but nice. The food quality is very good and service is accurate. Accessability (like many other places in Groningen) for disabled customer is not satisfied, and despite the waitress explained verbally all the courses, a printed menu in english language would also be mandatory for this level of restaurant.

9.5/10Beautiful, delicious food. Don’t be in a rush- it’s meant to linger over and enjoy each course. All 7 courses were fabulous! Plus some amuses!

10/10There is only one drawback - it takes too long. We spent 4h for 6 course menu, the time between dishes should be a little shorter.

7/10Excellent food, a nice pairing of wines, bar two courses. Staff were poor in lack of consideration for customers and guests. Get off your phones and pay more attention to the customers; they are paying for good service, not faces in blue-light notifications over tweeter feeds. Service quality was nothing outstanding, but that does not mean the staff were impolite or rude; they still served graciously for what they could. The chef seems to have the menu down to a fine art, my only recommendation would be to update the menu to pay tribute to the excellent array of courses served instead of a bleak and boring white, flimsy paper card. I'd be back for the food but service is the only salt in the wound.

10/10This place is in a cozy 1600s building with a lovely fireplace and candlight. The owner (?) made us feel at home with our shared interest of nice wines from Germany and other places that are typically not as appreciated by the Dutch customers. There are a few choices here for starters and main courses unlike many places in Groningen that offer the surprise menu. But there are vegetarian and fish options in each category. Each of our items were nicely presented and delicious. We commented on the pumpkin side dish and were rewarded with a large pumpkin from her father’s garden to take home. A lovely restaurant for a monthly visit, not just a special occasion.

7/10The location is wonderful. The service was „nice“. The food is decorated very colorful and looks great -but - it just does not taste as good as it looks and somehow the combinations don‘t really fit. The wine we chose was way too expensive for what it was.

10/10A cosy little restaurant with great food and service. Very nice cooking ideas (parsnips mousse as a desert) and fresh and local ingredients. Can highly recommend this place!
