I tried this restaurant and went there three times in a row- fresh, tasty food, good portions and good price. We usually took one portion each and was enough last meal we wanted to try starter and main and we couldn’t finish. The cheese bread was a hit for me, I think I went back there especially for that bread! The service was good, attentive staff, simple decor but feels homie and comfortable.

6/10The food was really quite good. The server was very nice but it felt as if the staff was generally more interested in each other than in us. The one disturbing thing was the insects ( many) over us and our table. It made us feel that there was something unclean or unsanitary. After all, the temperature was cool outside and it was windy. The restaurant was nearly empty. Just one other pair of diners the entire time we were there. Good value and food but get those little flies out of a restaurant.

7/10The place is cute, a live singer was also present making the atmosphere enjoyable. The service was ok, just few things to point out: We were a group of 11 people and we all ordered picanha, the problem is that the meat and fries arrived cold at the table like if the chef waited to have all the dishes ready in order to bring them all together. I think this is a point of improvement as to enjoy a steak it should be served warm. Secondly, we stayed seated until 5 min to closure time and when we asked for a last round of beers, a waitress (the older one) told indirectly to us that we had to hurry in a kind of rude way (I think this could be communicated directly to us in a more professional tone). In average the restaurant is good and the prices are in line with the market, I suggest to go in a smaller group of people / couple.

It’s really authentic Brazilian food. I know this because I went with a Brazilian. The portions are very good, and the prices reasonable. Feijoada is very good, and the quality of the meat is also good.

+1Food was really good! I went to Dona Maria twice in the same week. I only have 2 points where it can be improved: - service: I asked for tap water (água da casa as I was speaking with a Brazilian in Portuguese). She then asked if I wanted the glass or the bottle. I asked for the bottle and she sunddenly charged me €2 for it without letting me know the bottle was paid for. If you ask for água da casa, you know it’s the free option, so she mislead me by saying that a bottle option was available - I had no issues on my first visit with this. - maminha: the way it was cut made the meat very chewy. Other than that, everything else was perfect!!! I had an awesome service during my first visit. The second time wasn’t as nice due to the issue above mentioned. Food on my first and second visit was great! Just the preparation/cut of maninha can be improved. Other than this, awesome Brazilian food and adequate size meals! The music playing in the background is great too. Highly recommended !
