Consistently the best Salento cibo and wine with a nice twist always pleasantly surprising. Ruffano the town is amazing, as is the restaurant location, absolutely worth a visit before or after the meal, baroque refined.

Food was delicious. Service rather slow. At the end they brought me bill but forgot about my coffee. Surrounding amazing but outside decoration with green plastic was terrible.

We enjoyed a delightful dinner at “Farmacia dei Sani”, where the staff was exceptionally attentive, always ready to assist and describe each dish in detail. The restaurant is housed in the ancient stables of a historic palazzo on Piazza del Popolo 14 in Ruffano, now tastefully restored. Run by Chef Valentina Rizzo and her family, the kitchen offers modern Puglian cuisine using Km 0 ingredients infused with creative flair. We began with the ceviche, perfectly balanced with extra‑virgin olive oil and beetroot, followed by an off‑menu ricotta with bottarga and lemon zest, both exquisitely fresh and vibrant. For our mains, the spaghettoni with anchovy sauce (chef’s signature) and the chicken and sea urchin ravioli stood out for their depth of flavor. Nearly satisfied, we shared a caramelized pork belly with salt‑cod, a masterful surf‑and‑turf pairing that was richly comforting. Great, beautiful environment. Lovely food and amazingly friendly staff. To top the evening meal, the restaurant gifted a bottle of wine from their production.

It was a great experience for me and my family! The food, the atmosphere, the service! Even the kids (12 and 8) said this was the most delicious food they have ever had! I definitely recommend to visit this restaurant event if you are not in the same town!
