6.5/10When we first arrived at restaurant, overwhelming bleach smell in heated outdoor dining area…the room was over run with mosquitoes and flying bugs…we were a table of 7 and sat in corner…after we were asked if we wanted water, a server started coming into enclosed room and started spraying an aerosol can of bug spray around the ENTIRE perimeter! We immediately got up to evacuate the area! We asked to be seated inside of restaurant…our request was acknowledged, but we should have left…food was ok

Thanks for your review but the spray was perfume to remove the smell of bleach that had been used to sanitize the floor as you arrived early the smell did not have time to go away

10/10+1Excellent. We were greeted warmly and made us feel welcomed. Had the zucchini flowers and meatballs for an appetizer, so good and savoury. Peci with sausage sauce was to die for. Fried lamb chops were very tasty Overall a great experience

9/10This is a lovely local clean and modern trattoria with a good menu of local Tuscan cuisine and of course local wine. The portions are large and the dishes home made. It is easy to reserve a table on line and the waiters are very friendly and courteous we will return.

9.5/10We visited tonight while on vacation. The hosts were very kind and hospitable. We had the caprese salad, zucchini flowers, pasta, truffle steak and tiramisu and it was all delicious. Definitely recommend it!

9.5/10+1Lovely restaurant with exquisite food. Was full of locals and busy. The service staff seemed to know the locals well so it shows that the place served authentic cuisine. The rabbit and pasta were amazing and the beef was cooked perfectly.. The only downside was the lady serving us opening a bottle of wine and then not serving it, but instead just leaving it on the table. She did the same thing to the table next to us, and they corrected her. I hope this was just an exception and not the standard.

10/10We first came for lunch on Monday and then, encouraged by the food and service quality, we returned for a dinner on Friday. All the food, antipasti (taglio di formaggi con miele e mustard, taglio antipasto vegetariano), tortellini con tartufo e parmigiano, tagliatelle al ragù, gnocchi con salame al burro e salvia, tagliata fritta, tiramisù and crema vinsanto con cantuccini, was splendid, the service very friendly, kind, enthusiastic and efficient. Also the drinks (wine, beer, etc) very good. Frai la Trattoria is a great place where delicious food is served at very reasonable prices and in pleasant, welcoming atmosphere, with no crowds and noise. Highly recommended. ???? And the discount with TheFork booking obtained as promised ????

10/10A great restaurant near Castelfiorentino, Gambassi Terme and Montaione that ticks all the boxes. Nice outdoor eating location (with indoor option if needed), friendly and professional staff, and a really good menu. Highly recommend the vegetarian antipasto which was one of the best I’ve had all over Italy. Lots of different options to suit all tastes and a good wine list too.

9.5/10The food was really good. I tried the parpadelle cinghiale and it was cooked to perfection. The bread though was not good at all. I would recommend to skip it or otherwise you have to pay for it. Except from that, I definitely recommend this restaurant. I’m coming back tomorrow.
