The service and ambience were both very nice, indeed. The food was a disappointment. The veal was tough (I could not finish it), the bolognese sauce on the pasta was unremarkable, the lasagna seemed a week old and was unappetizing to even look at (appeared burned on top, the cheese was hard to cut through). The only dish that we enjoyed was the carpaccio con sausa senape - it was perfection. We stayed in the hotel for a week and gave this restaurant two tries, to be fair. I simply cannot recommend it to others.

There is a nice restaurant in the Aemilia hotel. It is a great place to eat after walking all day. I had the local pasta/lasagna, which was amazing. Desserts great too.

Eight of us were at the hotel for the near by F1 race at Imola. On our first night we decided to eat at the hotel as we were quite late arriving. It was a good decision as the food was excellent. We tried the four course local "tasting" menu and all courses were very good indeed and at a very reasonable price. Service was also very good. So I would recommend this restaurant if in the hotel....

We stayed at this very nice hotel . I’m so glad we decided to eat dinner at Gurme It was definitely one of our best meals in Bologna. Everything about the restaurant was wonderful. We had the tasting menu . The steak was perfect as was the delicious prosciutto and cheese plate . We had the best tiramisu of the whole trip at this hotel. I highly recommend eating at Gurme You won’t be sorry. The staff are really helpful and so charming and friendly.

We ate our first night in Bologna at our hotel as many restaurants were shut on a Sunday evening. The food was good as was the service if somewhat clinical especially having eaten in many fantastic restaurants throughout our trip. We had become use to eating with the buzz of chatter from local Italians eating in the restaurant and found the ambience affected our opinion xx

Service was impeccable and very personalized. Very interesting local dishes presented in a modern way, tasty and creative. Restaurant is life mainstream, not in the old town, but not far. We had a great time and really enjoyed the food and service.

Wow, everything was delicious. Will definitely return. The burrata appetizer was unique and very flavourful. We tried the local Pignoletto wine and loved it, very refreshing.

Elegant and quiet restaurant of the Aemilia Hotel. Young and professional staff, tasty dishes. Beef steak really well cooked and served. A bit out of the citycentre but overall good experience. Perfect for a cosy dinner away from the crowd.
