Overpriced for food. I had the similar food at another restaurant; its price was much cheaper. The service was so slow. Also, next table people smoked while we were eating. Didn’t enjoy the smell.

The waiter recommended us all to have some share food for starters. We said yes to that, and they brought us so much food we couldn’t eat. It was both to special in a bad way, it was all raw. By purpose. But no preparation or dressings or garnytyre. And then they came with even more starters who were fried. We had to send a lot of the food back to the kitchen. When the bill came we got shocked. For each person, also the child’s they charged us 25 euro. Only for the starters. I also asked for my meel medium + done, but when it came it was all red.

The restaurant seemed touristy, like something Rick Steeves would recommend. The staff was very nice though. I just didn’t think the food was that good. We ate at Buatta last night and the food was much better!

Excellent experience all round. Staff wonderful and engaging, food delicious and wine perfect choice. Only slight complaint was street music too loud. (woman singing with keyboard)

This only relates to my experience on my second visit to this restaurant. My first visit everything was great. I was disappointed this time as my octopus was over cooked and my steak was completely tasteless.. I would not complain at the time as it would embarrass my partner. No complaints on the service as it was excellent.

We enjoyed delicious and innovative cuisine at I Cucci for our first night in Palermo. Their themed degustation menus are a nice touch and gave us the chance to try a range of local flavours. Pricing was perhaps twice what we paid for most other meals, so fine dining came at a cost, but it was a special meal to savour.

The service was excellent and my friend’s food was also very good. However, I requested A GF pasta dish which was really disappointing. It took a very long time to come, tasted very average and the portion size was tiny - to the extent I was still very hungry after eating it. For the price (€18 for the bowl) it was not good value. That said, the staff were very kind and accommodating and once the fork discount had been added (we had to remind them to add it), it was better value. I would recommend but bear in mind it’s expensive if you’re not using the Fork discount (unless you are GF in which case I advise giving this place a miss).

We had a fabulous time at this restaurant! From the minute they welcomed us to the parting drink of limoncello, the service, food and setting could not have been more perfect! We all had pasta of some sort and both the meat and fish eaters were VERY happy! We may go another time on this same short trip.

The service was ineffective and slow due to lack of organization and communication between the staff. (we were offered many times dishes of other clients). The meal was correct. It is located in a nice and touristic place so it may seem a bit expensive.

The salted cod (bacalau) with Sicilian toppings was a wonderful surprise. The other dishes we ordered - salad with orange slices, fish of the day, and "canolo di terra" (with ricotta filling) on black pig ragout - were tasty.

We visited Palermo 12/28-1/3 and found I. Cucci on the fork as it was close to our Air BnB and it looked like it had plenty of options for our family (a Vegan and two Vegetarians). I booked for 12/29 way in advance, but had to cancel and then finally got the opportunity to re-book on our last night in Palermo. My first tip...dont wait to dine at I.Cucci. It was a really nice experience and the food was fantastic. The service is just what you would hope for... pleasant and accommodating and truly helpful. Our maitre d' quickly recognized that our Italian was rudimentary and switched quickly to a happy and energetic perfect English. We sat outside in the Piazza with the heaters and it was comfortable and really nice to watch the activity on the street and piazza. Dinner selection was made easier with our servers help and my Vegan daughter was very pleasantly surprised with selection and customization available so she could enjoy an exceptional Sicilian dining experience. All of our food was wonderful
