We expressly booked a terrace seat via you platform The Fork. The booking was confirmed by the restaurant. Arrived there, er were seated under a hidden pergola in the back row with no view. When asked, it was explained that places on the beautiful viewing terrace are not given to guests who have booked through the Fork. You would have to register by phone for this. Only after we wanted to leave, a better seat on the viewing terrace was offered.

We were in this restaurant 6 years ago and I have to say it was a bit better than our current visit. Even so, this restaurant with an amazing view is magical. I blame the missing menu in English. Not everyone is able to speak Italian.

Since 1996 we obligatorily visit one time „Il Barracchino“ for dinner when we spend some days or weeks in Tuscany. The location is situated in a beautiful landscape, the view from the terrace over the woods to the the sea and to the sundowning is magnificent, the hosts were and are always extremely friendly and the quality of the food is excellent. We are thrilled every time.
