we booked late for Sunday lunch and the restaurant was very busy with some large parties which meant we had to wait a little for service. however, this was understandable given how busy they were. we chose the mixed starter and it was excellent . it is very large so we asked for a smaller dish for two people, the normal size would easily feed 4. A very good selection of meats, cheeses, bruschetta and a few fried items. We both chose the Agnello Scottadito for our main course and it was probably the best we have had in all our time living here. The cutlets had plenty of meat on them. The house wine was good from our local cantina. The only downside for us on a hot day was that, when we sat down we asked for a bottle of water. It did not arrive and finally, after asking again it did arrive after we had placed our order. The waiter covering our table seemed to get distracted and we noticed that, another couple, seated several minutes after us not only had water but had their orders

The ambience was terrible, too much lights, tv was on with funniest home videos. Food was not good, overdone . Wine was good en the price also. We will not be here again .

THE BEST FOOD I HAVE HAD IN ITALY. Service is like you are a part of their family and very helpful. They kept bringing free exceptional appetizers that were sooooo good. House wine is Baldasarri vineyard and is cheap and oh so good. A little hard to find, but trust Google Maps. GO EAT HERE

The restaurant is located in the middle of the Umbrian countryside. Easy to get to with Google maps, even though it looks you came across by chance somebody else country house. The welcoming & service is impeccable, as it is the food & its presentation. Price, including the The Fork discount is great value for money. The atmosphere is very chilled & relaxed. Highly recommended.
