It’s a very authentic and modest but the food is big and bold in flavour. Highly recommend the stuffed squid as s main and loved the subtlety of the octopus salad starter. Thankyou! We’ll be back!

+1We have been driving by this restaurant for years. Never thought to stop. Well let me tell you how much I regret that. What an incredible restaurant!! The food. The wine of the service were all over and above anything we expected. We will absolutely return and make this a regular stop for us.

Absolutely delicious! Had 3 courses for dinner and it was seafood heaven. Everything was perfect and loved the interior of the restaurant too, all the old pictures and Sicilian history. Such friendly lovely hosts too,

This is a unique and untypical restaurant for the area, a pleasure to eat food that is prepared with such love and interest. The service is welcoming and friendly.

We have been coming here for several years now. The menu is small but a little bit out of the ordinary and we have discovered that many of our English friends enjoy the place too! Domenico, il padrone is charming, it is reasonably priced, and food is beautifully cooked and presented.

My husband had the pork in Marsala cream sauce. It was absolutely outstanding. It came with potatoes with rosemary also outstanding. I had a bean soup of the day which was very good. I also had the sautéed spinach. Again everything was just very good. We highly recommend this restaurant. Service was 5stars.

Fantastic food, fantastic servcie. The host/owner/chef was attentive and obviosly very proud of his food. He weclomed us with a smile and presented each plate with great joy.

Great place in the beautiful land of Tuscany. We stopped there before heading to Bolsena lake and it was the right choice. Nice surroundings, delicious dishes and good wine.

Fantastic food and great service. We all agreed that the food was exceptional. Service was exemplary, we asked for a couple of dishes to be slightly modified which was no problem. I couldn't recommend Il Poderaccio more highly. If you are in this part of Umbria don't miss out.

A really lovely meal. Excellent seafood, very well cooked. Owner so nice and friendly and helpful. The downside, absolutely no ambience. We were the only customers and the place felt dead and depressing. So sad as the food would be very hard to beat in this area.
