Staff claimed, after the meal was paid, that no discount was applicable as he had not heard that my 18.30 booking (we were 2 of a total 11 guests) was through The Fork rather than ‘one of their 3 separate booking systems’. Nobody else arrived at that restaurant after us, I announced when I came that I have an 18.30 booking for 2 with Fork. Whether he heard ‘Fork’ or not, to insist to be in the right, and offer no compensation or even apology makes my choice of restaurant even simpler for next time. Not this Indian Garden.
