We had reserved a 3 course dinner for three persons. Decided to go for the 4 course instead. We came early and felt too early. ‘Our’ chef wasn’t very communicative although we watched him and we would have loved to learn more about the food and preparation. At the last course he did give us a chance to take a picture when he roasted/flambé-ed our beef. The first courses were ok but not very impressive. All in all we enjoyed our dinner and food was good just not as impressive as we had hoped and expect from teppan yaki. The tayaki dessert was nice.

We booked Teekan Yaki table via TheFork. They didn't have it in their "system". Instead they argued we should have called them to reserve as TheFork isn't reliable in making such booking. The manager was highly argumentative all evening and it spoiled the mood. The food was mediocre at best.

It's a little more expensive than expected. But the food was delicious. It can be a little distracting for me with some "cooking performance" going on in the background. But overall it was nice.

The spot where I was seated near the entrance faced the door and waiting seating area, not only unpleasant to watch the guests and delivery guys coming in and out but also very cold. The food was good enough, serving portions were okay, all in all fine experience but not sure if I’ll go back though, it wasn’t cheap.

Excellent service and food! The chef was very nice, made every dish using finesse, taste, and took time to explain us about the dish. The experience was nice and relaxing environment. I would recommend to go with the 6course Menu! its definitely worth the value in comparison with the others menus.

Not the cosiest place by any means. Need to order by phone… due to Covid. Bullshit. Other restaurants no such stuff. Kitchen closed 21h on a Saturday.

Great welcoming, great food! I was just a bit disappointed in seeing that the menu is different between lunch and dinner. I know this place is great for ramen, and it is served on lunch time. We tried different things, sushi on top, it was amazing! My favorite choice in utrecht!
