2.5/10The food was NOT AT ALL worth the price. i understand that the food is not traditional, and that taste is subjective and what not. But i wouldn’t pay even a tenth of what i do for the food i received. the service staff also felt a bit condescending

8.5/10Nice place, but for a Michelin star rated restaurant it missed a lot of minor points. A couple of the dishes were innovative to the point of being peculiar. The table got so loaded up with wine glasses in preparation for a wine tasting that there was no room for our first course. The wine pairings were middle of the road and did not match the dishes well. Still and all, it was a nice evening out.

6.5/10Hard to believe this is a Michelin one star restaurant. Wine service was pretty bad. Requested a wine list and it took about 20 minutes. Then we had about 3 minutes to make a decision. I like good wine and will pay for it, give me the wine list and let me make a discerned choice. Oh, and serve the wine before the food. We weren’t the only table with this problem. Oh, and refill our wine glasses when they are empty- how hard is this? Food was hit and miss. Scallop starter was fantastic, as was the swordfish (fish of the day). Risotto was pretty good. Veal was dry and boring - not sure how this dish made it on the menu or out of the kitchen. Service was stuffy and many of the staff seemed unhappy

10/10The best restaurant experience Ive had in my life. Ive been to a lot of places but the service and the food were something very exciting and different by itself. Absolutely recommend. One of the best if not the best restaurant in Milan.

9.5/10The place is nice and modern with elegance and style. The food was very good - including the emblematic coniglio, which was recommended by the chef. Only the first course (asparagus) was for me not self-explaining. Very good was also the choice of the wines accompanying the menu. The service was good, in the beginning everything went a bit fast, but nevertheless professional and gentle. I would recommend this restaurant to

9/10Tasting menu, good range of dishes. Particular favorites were an umami rich turbot, and the lime + mint sorbet (thr best we have tasted). Catered at short notice to a number of allergies but allowing us to select substitutions or by altering the dish. Lovely ambience, and allows you to dress up! Staff were helpful and polite. Would return in future.

10/10This dinner was a graduation gift to my daughter who is a foodie and chef. As one would expect, the presentation of each course was beautiful, and the food also was delicious. Even the presentation of the breadsticks was artistic and fun. The modern take on tiramisu was fantastic.

10/10The entire staff team helped me celebrated my mother’s memorable birthday. We have done a wine pairing tasting menu, which was fantastic. It was a special day celebrating not only my mother’s birthday but also the restaurant director and a newly engaged couple’s birthday, great atmosphere overall. Will visit again when we have the chance. Thank you for a memorable meal.

7.5/10We ordered the chef's classic tasting menu with 4 courses. In the end, there was a sense of frustration. The quality progressed with each dish: bad, average, good, and excellent. But for 95 euros per person, we didn't expect to eat bad or average dishes; the minimum should have been "good". The size of the dishes was less than normal for tasting menus. The service left a strange feeling, not because it was bad, but because it was extremely sterile and robotic. If we ever return, it will certainly be for the à la carte options.

7.5/10Nice restaurant -but does not have the Michelin* feel we have experienced elsewhere. Made reservation for wife’s birthday, and never acknowledged. Tables very close together, so you can’t help but overhear the others next to you. Service was rushed. Presentation was good, but at one time the next course was brought to the table before the dishes had been removed from the previous tasting. No time between courses to savor the experience. We had the seasonal tasting menu (95eu) with wine pairings (45 eu). The wine pairing except for the last dish was good. Food was good, presentation was nice, but not anything special you wouldn’t get from any nice restaurant. We had much better food and it was more artistically presented at our hotel, Chateau Montfort, not Michelin rated-but it should be. I would not go back to L’Alchemie. For a 300eu dinner, it just wasn’t that exceptional.

8/10A dinner to remember! And for the better, no doubt. Both food and service were a positive experience. I would be happy to recommend it. However, what I missed (minor) were better english spoken staff. But it has it’s charm at the same time..

6.5/10Creative (kiwi in tomato) kitchen, elegant atmosphere, comfortable tables, but no explanation from staff in English language, you should guess what you are eating. That is very unrespectful when people talk to you in language that you don't understand. Wide variety of wines and great experienced Sommelier.

10/10What a way to end an exhausting Design Week. This place was intimate and elegant without being stuffy. reflected in both the food and the service. Momo and Matteo both gave an elevated charm and expertise to every course and wine selection. The kitchen put out a magical tasting menu, innovative but not too intimidating. The tasting menu is a must, and this place is a must when in Milan. Thank you!!

9/10Traditional food with a twist. The first courses of the degustation menu started rather average, but the turbot and everything afterwards was excellent. We had a great waiter but otherwise service was a bit stiff.
