Our waiter was just amazing. His English was not very good and our French was not very good. But he tried so hard to understand us and provided top quality service. The food was also amazing there was 8 of us and everybody's dishes from starters, mains and desserts were really good quality and presentation. The Italian Mob - TIM

The staff was very friendly the environment of the “cave” room cosy but cold. The starters were just ok, nothing special and the fish as main course lacked salt and taste. The deserts were really bad, out of the freezer with bad taste and smell, we couldn’t finish them. Extremely limited choice of average quality wines. Prices are extremely high for what the restaurant offers.

The waiter was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed him so much we didn’t want to leave. Their air conditioner had gone out, but when we showed up there was a perfect table for 7 ready for us outside! There was an appetizer wrongly labeled (they’d written avocado instead of tzatziki 🤷🏻‍♀️), and the chicken was not too flavorful, but they gifted us with fried shrimp, and everything else was spectacular!

I had a cod dish with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables, which was good, and a glass of white wine. The service was very good. I was looking forward to dining at the restaurant based on the reviews. I was seated outside -- the evening was nice. The ambiance outdoors is basic at best. The surroundings are next to a building with old posters, and some of the tables are on artificial grass. The ambiance detracted from my experience. I wanted to like l'Envie more than I did but, because of the ambiance for outdoor dining, I wanted to leave as soon as I had eaten rather than linger and have another glass of wine. I regret writing this negative review. Please note it is about the ambiance outdoors, not about the service or the food.

L’envie was a diamond in the rough! It was the most incredible find of our entire trip of Nice and Aix. The young men who are own and operate this establishment are far above many a five star restaurants we’ve eaten. This young chef would be considered a “master chef”. Our party of four was absolutely blown away by the amazing meals prepared by an amazing chef. Our host and we think owner along with the chef was an incredible host and just a pleasure throughout our meal. Best to them both.

Lovely small restaurant with a downstairs cave dining room. The owners are very sweet and work hard to make your meal pleasant. There are a few Corsican touches like the tasty Corsican charcuterie we started with. A winter squash tart did not disappoint. Vegetables were handled with care.

Extraordinarily delicious and creative food! I dine all over the world and the canette de canard here was the best I have ever had - tender and flavorful, with fig and date accompaniments. The ambiance in the small “cave” is charming and the service was warm and friendly.

Very cute outdoor seating in Aix. My duck was incredible. The monk fish looked pretty but was bland. We also shared a starter - an avocado puree in a sort of tart - that was okay, but I wouldn't order again.
