Wonderful service unlike any we’ve had in Portugal, both thoughtful and generous. The food is made with passion and precision. I really hope to see a bigger crowd making a trip here. It’s definitely worth it and they truly deserve it. Extra thanks to our server, you know who you are G

The restaurant and setting were delightful. The food was even better. We had three courses and all were top quality. We appreciate haute cuisine and this didn't disappoint. Great to have our crepes suzette created and cooked in front of us. Would recommend to those who want top quality dining. Their prices were not extraordinary either, considering the excellent quality.

unfortunately, they were out of everything we first ordered. So we settled on salads, just not what we hoped to enjoy. And no escargot on the menu???

Thank you very much for your review, which we consider very positive and quite unique. The restaurant L'Escargot already existed in this same space in the 1980s. After being closed for several years, we decided to recreate the emblematic dishes of that decade.We also kept the name of the restaurant to maintain the nostalgia of those who visited it and still visit it.Regarding Beef Wellington, we have a top seller that has not been easy to manage, and unfortunately for you, that day it ended. Next time we will be happy to welcome you and reserve a Wellington for you.

This is probably the worst food ever. I need to say the starter was ok, luckily. We, my wife and I returned both our main dish. Very poor performance of the chef. Service: we arrived at 8:15pm and left at 10:00pm without eating our main dish? This can happen if the resto is fully booked, be we were the only one in the resto!!! I booked through Thefork and I got rewarded with 30% discount. I refunded to pay for the food and they agreed on that but they forgot to reduce the bill with 30%, when asking for it they ware surprised and unhappy-angry.

Good evening Peter De Bruyn, thank you for your review and it will be taken into account, as will all others. However, we would like to point out that when you arrived, there was another couple having dinner, so it is not true when you say that you were the only ones in the restaurant! You did not like the main course and sent it back, and we did not charge for it either, only for the starters and drinks. We would like to please everyone, but on rare occasions this is not possible, as can be confirmed by the reviews. Interestingly, the unhappy-angry waiter accompanied you to the door and said goodbye.
