Excellent restaurant

Food: We ordered a half half pizza, pretty tasty and generous. Not the best dough ever though. Salad was good, desserts fine, the fondant was a bit dry, the tiramissu not very traditional but good. Service was excellent, our waiter Ricky was supet energetic and smiling all the time. Ambiance was nice, some classy music and warm lights.

Should have been an easy early family dinner; arrived 6:50pm, was promptly seated, starters came, missed one of them and the drinks, then pasta took almost another 1.5 hours to come and then 2 or the 3 dishes were wrong. I think they were overwhelmed, but it was frustrating after a long day and everyone was tired.

Booking made & confirmed for 9pm and still waiting for a table at 9:30… Even though we have told a couple of times that the table will be available in 5 minutes. We eventually had to go somewhere else

The boss was back, everything suddenly improved. The waiters were efficient and kind to us, the service was quick, the food was tasty and we had a really good time.

The food is adequate, but the atmosphere lacks a local flavor and feels more like a tourist trap. Especially at the end, when closing the tab, a suggestion for a tip was made, which was unexpected in Paris.

We left because they gave us our table 30 minutes late. The host was angry and even rude. They seated us downstairs, at an awful table in the back of the restaurant. It then took 10 minutes for anyone to come to us, and the server was also very rude, even with our children, who are young and don’t live in France, so they are not familiar with the menu, the pastas, and had questions about the sauces, etc.
