Disappointing experience. French onion soup was gelatinous with few onions and a crust of bread with small amount of cheese floating on top. Rice was dry and duck didn’t have crispy skin. Don’t be fooled by the Fork 50% discount. The prix fixe was excluded which would have been okay if they didn’t stint on the quality. The a la carte items were covered by the discount but the prices were inflated so it was not a deal. In addition, they didn’t allow me to pay through Fork Pay. They want the advantage of exposure on the platform without the associated cost.

Our waitress was what made our visit memorable! The food and ambiance was amazing, but the friendly staff was incomparable! We were dining with our 6 year old, and were nervous about where to go that was family friendly. Well this was the perfect place to still have a wonderful meal, some great wine, and have our child with us! Highly recommend making PACKIAMS a must stop for your trip!

This restaurant is so conveniently located next to Gare de L'est. The menu prices for food are inflated but with the 50% off it is fine. The hamburger and vegetarian pizza we had were good, but I'd like to see more vegetables on the pizza. I detected one tiny piece of eggplant/aubergine. A shame. In addition, it was unfortunate to have the large rubbish bins wheeled through the restaurant, directly in front of our table, to be taken onto the street. This will be my lasting memory of this eatery - 2 full rubbish bins full of trash inside the eating area. I'm not sure this meets with food hygiene standards. It might be good idea to do this when the place is empty, or not in front of The Fork customers, or find a better solution - eg leave the bins on the street, and take the trash out in bags. This was shocking to me and I've lived in Paris for over 25 years.

The place was lovely and so was the service. The food was delicious, especially the dessert. They even insistend in offering us a little analcolic drink (we told them that We don’t drink), it was a beautiful dinner!

Friendly welcoming and seated promptly. Great wine but food was a massive letdown. Portion sizes were too large; mussels were tiny; still had beards on and not properly cleaned. Most of main courses not eaten.
