9/10First of all, the food was outstanding. We went there for lunch and shared a pasta e fagioli soup to start, then had two traditional Genovese pasta dishes recommended by our waitress, tagliatelle with pesto (but not just ANY pesto) and a pork ravioli (I forget the name). All three dishes made our eyes roll back in our heads with delight. The waitresses were so helpful and attentive even though the dining room was mobbed with people at lunchtime. It was quite noisy, but that's because it was filled with people enjoying their meals - unlike the many other mostly empty restaurants we passed on the way to Locanda. If we ever get to Genoa again, we will definitely book dinner there. Five stars for sure.

8/10I am writing to share my recent experience at your restaurant. Firstly, I want to commend you on the excellent quality of the meat served. It was truly exceptional, and the flavors were outstanding. Additionally, the staff was incredibly polite and attentive, making our dining experience very pleasant in many aspects. However, I would like to mention a particular issue we encountered. Despite the wonderful ambiance inside, complete with dancing and a lively atmosphere, we were not allowed to stay indoors. Instead, we were seated outside on the street, which was quite disappointing. While we understand that certain policies or reservations might have been in place, we felt that being seated outside took away from the overall enjoyment of our evening. It would have been a much more enjoyable experience if we could have been part of the vibrant indoor atmosphere.

7.5/10The restaurant and service were good- we were unfortunately just disappointed with the steak fiorentina. Typically that comes out sliced and is quite a feast for the eyes, but for whatever reason they did not slice the steak at all. It was very disappointing, especially when we’d seen photos of such presentation on other google reviews. They also did not have any lambrusco and didn’t offer any other similar alternatives. Overall, the food was good but there is potential for improvement on presentation and service.

10/10Amazing dinner in this super nice restaurant, delicious homemade food, great service from Romeo who also helped tremendously with translations and recommendations, and a relaxed & cozy atmosphere. We strongly recommend to any traveler in Genoa! But don't forget to book as the place is not very big...

7/10Saw this restaurant on TA and it consistently had good reviews so decided to try it. Despite being 20minutes late due to getting lost the 2 members of staff were welcoming. There was a lot on the menu that we didn’t understand so had to use a translating app. They have a vast wine selection most of which at a decent price. Our food arrived all at the same time, primi and segundi which wasn’t too much of an issue and it was absolutely delicious. My daughters steak was tender and perfectly cooked, all the various pastas full of flavour and my risotto bursting with rosemary. Shared desserts as they were large and again beautiful. A real find.

4.5/10Restaurant did not have our table available until other diners finished, so we stood waiting for the table with no apology. They did not seem to have the booking or know who we were. The Wagyu Beef i had was in my opinion over fatty, which was white and not cooked. I know i wanted it Med but you still should ensure the fat is rendered down. I fully understand about marbling etc but this had large amounts of fat prob about 30%. I did mention it and the waitress took it away only to return several seconds with the same plate saying this is how it comes. Even to the point of arguing trying to say this is how Wagyu comes. At £24 euros and Considering this was close to the most expensive steak on the menu to me it was poor for the price. Even the size was small. They slice it into very thin strips so it looks like a lot. The potatoes though that come with the dish were fine. Sorry but the experience for me was ruined by ignorance and not respecting a customers opinion. We did not order desert or coffee as the meal was spoilt for me. Would i eat there again, prob not due to their attitude. They did honour the 20% discount but i still would prob not go again.
