10/10Perfect, fine dining expirience. Great fresh fishery, from sea to table. A bit pricy comparing to other sea food, however the freshness, professionalism and quality of service is worth it

8/10The food and service were all very good. However, we were put upstairs in the restaurant and the lighting is not good. It is too bright and sterile for dining.

10/10The freshest seafood in Barcelona. The owner treated me like family and showed me his entire restaurant. He had me pick my own lobster, introduced me to the chef and his entire staff. The restaurant is family owned and operated. The fish is fresh daily with only the finest selections. The owner and his family ran their own fishing boats for several generations. Their fish is second to none. I highly recommend the food and the experience. Bon appétit.

10/10La Maroteca is a truly special spot, serving incredibly fresh seafood caught by the family who owns and runs the restaurant. The staff was warm and accommodating, patiently guiding me through the menu as someone new to seafood. Even the owner and captain stopped by to check in, making the whole experience feel personal and welcoming.

10/10it was great experience from the beginning to the end. Monk fish was to die for, steak was good, may be even great for Barcelona standards. Wine was great,dessert excellent. service superb.

10/10 - My favorite restaurant in Barcelona. Seafood is fresh & caught daily, family owned and operated, the staff are so friendly and accommodating, English speaking, and the food is phenomenal. I recommend to all my friends who visit the city and everyone has loved it. Excellent!!!

10/10Excellent food. Service was prompt and courteous. We were made to feel like family. Took the recommendation of a friend from work, who happens to be also visiting Barcelona at this time with his family. I was, and am, grateful for the recommendation. We would definitely go back again!
