8/10I thought the food was outstanding !! Some of the best I have ever had . The wine service was good but clunky. I thought the vibe at our table was disfunctional as the lights were so bright it affected our overall experience. The food was worthy of a 2 star Michelin rating but with the other aspects I would say it doen't rate Michelin. They have some work to do with the other aspects to bring their service up to the quality of their food.

5.5/10We were the first to arrive I think. Start of service. The main waiter was anything but welcoming. We ordered the 80€ menu as we can not afford more than that to be honest and we wanted to experience a Michellin associated resturant. The first four courses were rather lovely to decent. One squid dish was just a over garlicy undercooked mess. And then, the first main course of Cod fish was bland and tasetless, in all honesty I have never tasted anything as bland as that dish, and when the waiter came to check on us and saw plates less than half eaten he shrugged it off and said nothing. The next course was something resembling pulled pork bits in between two slices of pork skin with a topping of burnt onions and a thin slice of potato with a heavy and unflattering sauce. Really left a bad taste in our mouths. The desert was a syrup drenched french toast with ice cream. I would like to mention that they do offer cheaper than expected drink. All in all a very disappointing evening. 4/10

10/10La Taverna del Clinic was excellent in every way: delicious food, great service, elegant and refined ambience and decor. Dinner started with a gratis amuse bouche - a mini crisp egg roll. . I had the crispy orange duck after a shrimp appetizer with a light coconut milk/curry sauce. My husband had the baked dorado with lightly sautéed vegetables. For dessert I had 3 melt-in-your-mouth richly chocolate truffles. Altogether superb. Highly recommended!!

10/10We booked dinner after seeing the reviews & it was wonderful in service & deliciousness. They have an extensive menu covering sea & land + east west fusion. We had gambas Palamos salt grilled (9+),razor clam in yuzu (10), suckling pig in apple sauce(8.5) & catalan seafood rice(8.5). Some reviews from locals were pin pointing their shift to tourist focused. But we being tourists appreciates the food quality of close to Michelin star at a bargain price. This evening we saw al English speaking patrons. Will recommend to TheFork travellers.

10/10This is the best dining experience we have had since we have been to Barcelona. The ambience is lovely - the sculptures on the tables and art on the walls give the place an elevated feeling. The waiters were very attentive and the food was spectacular - the oysters as an appetizer were perfection and I also highly recommend the scallop appetizer.

7.5/10Every dish was very good and tastefull, carefully prepared and served in a Classic manner. The only thing we did not like was the ‘decor’ of the restaurant. When we came in I was shockend by an overlith place, luckely we were seated in the next room that was a bit more updated. We would be back but only for the delicious food.

Que un restaurante siempre aparezca en las quinielas para conseguir una estrella Michelin dice mucho de su nivel. Y La Taverna del Clínic lo tiene. Lo curioso del caso es que cuando entras allí no te da la sensación de estar en un templo gastronómico, sino más bien en un modesto restaurante de barrio. Pero no hay que dejarse engañar por el interiorismo porque su cocina es excelente. Una de las razones de este talento entre fogones es que El Racó de Can Fabes, del desaparecido Santi Santamaria, fue una de las grandes escuelas por las que pasó el chef de La Taverna, Toni Simôes. De manera que su propuesta gastronómica circula a lomos del mejor producto posible, sea de alto standing, como la trufa, el caviar o el bogavante, sea popular y asequible (calamares, panceta…). El pescado que les llega a diario es el que ha capturado con caña un pescador en la costa de Finisterre. Las setas son seleccionadas por una familia de Centelles (comarca de Osona) cuyos miembros son buscadores profesionales. Las miniverduras y los germinados crecen en pequeños huertos ecológicos de Osona y La Estrada (Galicia)… Con todos estos ingredientes nacen platos como el bacalao con berberechos y arroz integral con algas, las vieiras con castañas y pies de cerdo, el cochinillo crujiente con langosta… ¿Sabías que Toni Simôes fue nombrado Mejor Cocinero Joven del 2014 por la Acadèmia Catalana de Gastronomia i Nutrició?
