I visited Taverna del Vasto last Friday evening, and it was honestly one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had in Italy! I’m in my twenties and traveling around to discover real local food — and this place absolutely blew me away. I tried the pallotte cacio e ovo and the arrosticini, both typical dishes I had never tasted before. The pallotte were soft, rich, and full of flavor — pure comfort food! And the arrosticini… wow. Juicy, perfectly grilled, and so tasty that I couldn’t stop eating them. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality and everything is homemade with care. The atmosphere of the restaurant is super cozy and authentic, with friendly staff who made me feel welcome even though I don’t speak much Italian. You can feel the local soul in every detail — from the decor to the food. If you want to try the real taste of Abruzzo, this is the place to go. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely come back!
