10/10Very authentic enterier - something you would not expect in Italian restaurant. Old school staff - warm welcome and proper food reccommendations. Amazing dishes!

10/10La Taverna Valtenillesse is a beautiful restaurant in a chalet style with excellent service of foods particular to Valtenilla, a valley in the Lombardy region of northern Italy, bordering Switzerland. So, do not expect a variety of Mediterranean vegetables in the dishes they serve; most dishes come with either polenta or baked potatoes on the side. However, they definitely know how to prepare their meat, and we can definitely recommend the bresaola as a starter with their very good red house wine.

10/10We were recommended Taverna Valtellinese by our host and weren’t disappointed… a lovely Alpine inspired Taverna with a nice atmosphere…. Menu extensive with Lombardy regional dishes … good wine list and friendly staff … the pasta were authentic and home made …not a cheap restaurant but a nice treat ..a meal for two with 4 x glasses of wine and shared dessert was €120

10/10We were there in the season for white truffels and had tagiatelli with white truffels. That was an explosion of taste with very good pasta and buttersauce and nice balanced with truffels. The tartar was also very good. -H and E -2025

5.5/10The starters were ok, braseola was very good but the tatar had a pink pastele color and slightly acidic taste. Fine, probably not their forte. But then came the main dish (also the waiter to our benefit has misunderstood and brought just one of two main dishes we ordered). 5 thin slices of some meat that tested like a leftover from a wedding. Along with a testeless polenta. Best tasting were the potatos. At least they were fresh. Seems like its a tourist trap now. We paid 75 euro. We laughed it off but really, keep away.
