Visited this restaurant for the first time having searched Trip Advisor reviews. Was disappointed due to having to wait awhile for service as the restaurant wasn’t too busy at the time we sat down. Understand and accept that if the place was busier. The Crunchy Prawns starters we ordered were quite wholesome but sauce was tasteless and main course vegetables including potatoes were barely warm. Maybe it was just an off night and may try again to see if that was the case, as it was in a nice location and the atmosphere was good.

Did not like the enclosed area(outside extension) due to it being heavily affected by people smoking. Moved inside which was a better environment. The Food,Service and Ambience was fine. Would re-visit, providing being away from any smokers.

Used this restaurant several times previously and it was superb from the food to the ambience to the interaction with the staff - unfortunately our latest visit didn’t quite hit the previous highs although it was still good

The service was good ,however the meal arrived in about 5 minutes ! Which is good ,but I like to talk and make an evening of eating out ,personal taste I'm sure . My husband and kids ordered the same thing ,spag Bol ,however the portions size were dreadful . I complained about the size of my husbands portion and to be fair he gave him some more . I had cod in black garlic with patas bravas and it was lovely . The best jug of sangria we've had all holiday . Didn't like that the waiters kept removing dishes every few minutes while your eating . Nice evening though .

Every year we visit traditionally Tropical. Each year the tapas is better thema we remembered, the service thoughtfull and adequate and the bill not painfull... we love Tropical!

Family of six (5 on tapas) and a child eating from the snacks menu. We shared nine tapas between five of us over the course of two and a half hours. Food was excellent, service exceptional. Love the goats cheese and teryaki prawns we ordered em twice House red is an excellent Rioja. Bill was 190 for six including all drinks (kids three drinks each, adults two and water on table)

Excellent food, we asked our waiter to suggest tapas, fantastic choices he got to know what we liked through feedback, suggested the right amount of food. Standout dishes - Octopus succulent, clams juicy, the olive oil they use so green and grassy, heuvos rotos with ham, yummy.
