We made a reservation and got sat in the back next to the bathroom. There were other tables in the main room. The food was fair to good. I wouldn’t order the scones and the portions were conservative. Not sure why they are so booked. It’s smallish and serves as one of the sole breakfast options in the center of the town of Montepulciano.

Our team is here to help and would have gladly offered an alternative spot if requested. Regarding the scones, we add our own local twist, using mascarpone cream and homemade orange marmalade as we believe this adds a distinct, local charm, but we understand that preferences vary. Lalma Cafe is a small and cozy spot, and we’re grateful that many visitors appreciate it as one of Montepulciano’s favorite breakfast options, we hope to welcome you back and provide a better experience next time.
