Pretty empty when we got in, but filled up quickly. The meat on the boat was great as well as the schnitzel and the pizza. Really loved it. Waiter didn’t speak much English, but we understood everything fine. Even with this, they understood the nut allergy we had on the table and all was well!!!

Lovely visit. We had very low expectations but were happily surprised to find the food both well cooked and the service impeccable. Service minded, quick and helpful. Happy to visit again during our yearly trip to Colmar.

Very disappointed. We arrived on time, but were turned away with several rude shrugs. I don’t know if this was an error on the part of The Fork or the restaurant, but either way, the owner/manager was very offhand and stated there was no reservation. He showed us his mobile indicating there were no reservations and that the restaurant was full - which it wasn’t at the time. Even when I showed him our app confirmation and email reminder from The Fork, he was just very dismissive and kept shrugging. So we had no option but to walk away. However, we found a restaurant a few steps away where we had the most fabulous welcome and meal with excellent service.

Quiet area for dinner and the food was very good if you are looking for the local flavour and typical Alsace dishes. Our server was terrific and made the experience even better.
